Lovely video! I hope D'Mag kicks on and makes it for us as he looks a confident and impressive man. I think that Ian Wright is just a class act, he is so passionate about football, his family and the horrible racism that players have had to suffer it is hard not to feel emotional when he speaks.

Always thought Wright was a fantastic striker, full of aggression allied to good technique, but couldn't be doing with him as a pundit/media personality, but he seems to be getting better and better with age.

I remember listening to Ian Wright when he was a guest on one of those Radio 4 shows on Saturday mornings, about five years ago. He was describing how he pulled his life around when he was a youngster, because of one particular teacher who invested lots of time in him. He came across as an articulate, compassionate, reflective and emotionally literate bloke, and I actually had to stop the car because of the tears rolling down my face. It completely revised my opinion of him, which had been shaped in the past by the brashness that seemed to be such a big part of his persona as a player. Since then, I always listen to what he has to say, and always notice his warmth and how others obviously relate to him - even when he does football punditry!

He’s certainly progressed and is pretty likeable. I remember his interviews as a player and he’s certainly matured from the days when every sentence was finished with a “you know.” His grandson seems a decent kid who’s been guided well and seems to have that winning attitude. For some reason I thought he was taller but he looks very similar build to his dad. Itll be interesting to see how he progresses. Bayern seems the expert on all things u23. Does he stand a chance?

I like the bit where it makes it look like our training ground has a complex of artisanal shops.
It's funny that just over a decade ago, Wright-Phillips was getting some very personal (and funny) abuse from our supporters that's all under the bridge now.

Loved it. A great family together and when you watch that, it makes you realise how sick in the head people have to be, to be racist because of the colour of a person's skin.
OS.

Makes a change to show the area in a nicer light than the usual industrial views we’ve traditionally seen. If you didn’t know it was Stoke you’d think it was somewhere down South. Really meaningful content as well, loved the relationship between the three of them.

He'll be gone in the summer At one point in that video, it sounded like he wasn't happy about something at Stoke (not the bouncing between u23 and firsts); to the point where they did a cut and didn't include it. Fingers crossed, that's picked up on by the academy, they get him to fulfill his talent and get into the first team squad.

There's no reason to not have him in the 1st team squad instead of Ince .

An idea for a Mini-Series...entitled "Footballers With Stoke Links Have Hot Chocolate With Their Family At Trentham Gardens" Pilot: Kevin & Tyrese Campbell Episode 1: Paul & Tom Ince Episode 2: Rory & Liam Delap Episode 3: Denis & Tommy Smith "Smell my cheese, you mother"
