I'd like to see this "obstruction" incident which Buttler wisely chose to ignore. In light of recent Mankad controversies, probably quite a sensible approach.
Apparently, the umpires asked if he wanted to appeal, so it sounds a fairly obvious infringement?

Apparently, the umpires asked if he wanted to appeal, so it sounds a fairly obvious infringement? Wade put his arm across Woods chest as he attempted what would have been a regulation caught and bowled. It was outright cheating but then I’d expect nothing less from the Aussies. A different story in a World Cup I imagine. Luckily the cheat went soon after

Good win today. It was important that the captain made runs after his injury lay-off and I thought most of the bowlers bowled quite well, however Rashid has seemed a bit out of sorts lately and we need to find a way to get more from Ben Stokes, who's T20 record is quite poor. I think we played what is probably our best eleven except that Livingstone might come back in but not sure who for.

About as blatant as it gets! Would've quite liked to have seen someone given out for obstruction, don't think I've ever seen that before. I remember when Gooch was given our "handled ball" against India, I think, which was a rare form of dismissal.

Rashi's Rippers are in the league... I've picked the Afghanistan one though.

Another good win with some excellent bowling by Curran at the end. Three runs and a wicket off the 18th over is superb. Quite fancied the Aussies when they needed 34 off 18, so good effort to win by 8 from there

Good to see Keaton Jennings recalled. He has bided his time, worked hard on his game and had an excellent season in all formats.
Personally I would have him ahead of Duckett in the race to open as he's a proper opener and an excellent player of spin. However Duckett was selected in the squad for the last test if the summer and showed good form in the recent t20 series.
Really looking forward to this series, should be a cracker 🏏

Duckett in the squad, excellent to see. Excellent way to play the short ball in the sub-continent.

3 “part time” spinners and Jack Leach! Rash, Mo, Critchley, Crane etc not even in the frame. We’re gonna get murdered if they prepare spinning wickets

Another cracking knock from Malan, those Aussie pitches are made for him. I can’t understand why certain people don’t want him in the side. He goes run a ball up to 20 then accelerates, the perfect T20 middle order batsman for me

He's not played since August, he got injured during the Hundred. He's been building up in rehab and is pencilled in to play in the last warm up game against Pakistan.

Duckett has been batting really well and the fact that Bairstow is injured means that he's got the nod as reserve wicket keeper. The squad suggests like the Australia series it's going to be more seamer friendly than Pakistan wickets of old, if I were Pakistan looking at that squad I'd be instructing the ground staff to produce raging turners........

It may have escaped folks’ attention (it certainly escaped mine and I was late choosing my cricket draft squad) but the T20 World Cup has started today. Just watched a cracking low scoring affair between Netherlands and UAE. UAE scoring just 111-8, Netherlands scraping the win with one ball remaining. Also earlier the Sri Lankan decline continued with a slightly embarrassing thrashing by Namibia.

Ah ok, are these the teams where it says TBC in the fixture list? That’s right yeah……. Phew so I’m not playing catch up. The only Critisism I have of the fantasy game is I feel like I pretty much picked who I would have had with an unlimited budget. Obviously the big players won’t necessarily have a good tournament but I think the pricing is wrong. I was expecting to be trawling the depths of Bangladesh squad. I didn’t notice if players from the teams today had been included either?

What a great win for Scotland. When I lived up there is was amazed by the number of clubs in the East Coast area and the standard of play. The popularity of cricket up there is a well kept secret.

Yeah parts of Edinburgh and Aberdeenshire are cricketing hotbeds, it always had the stigma of only being played by posh kids though or at least it used to?

I watched games in Fife and East Lothian too - lived very close to the Grange ground in Edinburgh so went there loads of times (even saw Lancs play there) and yes I grant you most of the players probably had a private school background but there must be a heck of a lot of those because the number of teams these clubs ran was very impressive.
