We're missing an edge in the middle without Sawyers. Vrancic is too silent, Allen stifling and Powell's backheels doing me in although he's been the best of the lot so far. Sawyers gives us nothing let alone "an edge" other than the odd good ball I've been extremely disappointed with him He drives the ball forward letting Powell and Vrancic to run and create. Allen on the other hand stands with ball to foot and then gives them the "edge" by misplacing passes. |

Absolutely clear, no idea what everyone's on about He didn’t - it was simply a case of two players competing for the ball If that’s a foul it’s time to Jack this all in One angle does show contact on the ESPN stream I’m using. However, it’s slight and neither player was in possession. It was a 50-50 and Vrancic won it. |

When the goal was disallowed, the Sky Sports graphic erroneously changed from 1-0 to 2-0 for a couple of seconds, as the commentator said: “Well it’s not 1-0!” I thought we must have scored a second while they were showing the replay. Wankers. It was all over the place then because at first it showed as 0-1 to WBA |

Nonsense. Flicks have a high failure rate. We have seen 3-4 Stoke flicks missed already tonight. Fortunately all except one were high up the pitch. I will let you guess which one put us into trouble. Nonsense!! How’d you work that one out?? Move the ball quickly with players moving quickly then flicks and back heals come off Of course they do! |

Good half of nogger...need to come out firing second half and more chances will come. The baggies not giving us any time on the ball, but we've carved them open a few times...need to make one or two of them count

One or two have been good but far too many end up with the opposition. |

Not seen such a half arsed, badly positioned player for a long time. Agree re Allen though. His second touch is always a tackle, he makes us weaker |

What lol Wilmot and Chester have been saving Allen's horrid passes to WBA players in the box for 15 straight minutes that half so much so they are looking improved! Chester and Wilmot have more connected passes then the entire midfield. Combined! |

Though to be honest, I feel that was a decently balanced midfield in the first 45. |
