Looking to go to Shefield United away and was wondering if there is a pub for dedicated away fans not the mixture pubs.

I was there last night and for my sins with Southampton and we found a pub in London road called the Albion. Not solely away fans but the locals were freindly enough for me. Good local beer and not to pricey. Only 5 minute walk to away end.

Sheffield is hopeless for pubs. Go to Rotherham Wetherspoons and then get the number 73 bus up to Bramhall Lane.....

I think it’s best staying in the staff and watching a stream Sheffield is a truly fantastic drinking city ….why the fuck people don’t take advantage of a different place is totally beyond me I’m sure there’s plenty of football pubs 20 deep with plastic glasses galore

I wouldn't dare venture out personally. Go on the coach, straight in the ground and buy a couple of bottles in there.
Best be safe an all that.

So many great boozers in pretty much every town or city we play in...don't even need to look that hard either

Is the Station Tap fan friendly for match days ? (Obviously with a large contingent of BTP somewhere no doubt)

Is the weatherspoons still on the station? Not a wetherspoons (though there are 3 in the centre and 2 bit further out) but the very good Sheffield tap at the dide of the station.

It is indeed a fantastic drinking city but when I acted as defacto tour guide for a bunch of mates prior to the Barnsley game last season (MON's first game in charge) they all moaned their fucking bags off about the hostelries I took them to because they had to pay more than 3 quid a pint. They can go to fucking Wetherspoons this time 😂

A few decent pubs off the station I seem to remember from the 2-2 Wednesday a few years back and it's only a 20 minute walk to the station, we are hopefully going if we get tickets and hope to see a different set of pubs on the way.
