Ah. Cheers crouch'. Do those gigs actually pay? I mean I get the impression some of these smaller radio stations are one step above Hospital Radio - voluntary/part-time staff, etc. Also - why the safety specs in that photo? It's a community radio station with a 5 year rolling FM licence. All voluntary so nobody on the payroll, similar to The Cat in Crewe and Nantwich where I used to be a presenter a few years ago. Cool. That explains the proliferation of similar stations across the country I guess. Some of them aren't just "local", but "very local". Up here there's Radio Warrington, but also "Radio Stockton Heath" - which in North Staffs terms would be like having "Radio Westlands" .
