This is why for me ..if club want to do something for fans …then instead of free travel ..knock £10 -off every away match ticket that is more than £25

Why on earth would anybody want them to do that?

Loodicrous price. I'm ruling that one out, no matter how well we are playing.

Only at Stoke could a "fan" complain about the club providing free away travel!! I personally have never used it preferring to go by the train and have a few jars but that is my choice and doesn't take anything away from a wonderful gesture by the club.

I think it's a great gesture by the club, but why not do something that benefits everyone. It is available to everyone. I like to go on the train and make a day of it, not sit on a coach where I can't have a drink and get to the ground an hour or so before kick off. So it isn't available to me.

It is available to everyone. Not everyone lives in fucking Stoke Thats immaterial, its still available to everyone which was the point. In the same way someone said it wasn't available to them as he likes to go drinking, well that is also immaterial, its a choice. I reckon if they used the money they spend on the free travel you would end up with 2 or 3 quid knocked off a ticket, not the amount others in the thread have suggested. I think in the main more people benefit from this than the benefit knocking 2 or 3 quid off a ticket (and that money going to the home club) would benefit. And back to the not everyone lives in stoke, fair enough but if you don't live in Stoke, im not sure 3 quid off a ticket would make much of a difference cost wise to there attendance. I even used the free coaches when I lived in London to any game North of Stoke or in Midlands

So it doesn’t benefit “everyone”

It does benefit everyone... You just choose not to use the benefit It only benefit those who live in Stoke. I know what a joke, I mean I think they should pay for everyone's travel, including Jo in oz. Well since we are a Stoke based club, I think it's a good idea to have the free travel from stoke. 20,000 stokies on average get to the ground most weeks so best have the coach from there I'd say.
