Game finished at least 5 mins early, ref completely lost the plot, keeper had a worldie performance, I refuse to get upset by not winning that one. Someone needs to stick a rocket up Sawyers though, that was palpably poor in the 2nd half, just did not look interested. Classic work in progress kind of game, we will play far worse and win. Sawyers stunk the place out. Worse then anything JA has served up, and I’m no JA fan.

Was there a save that their keeper made that wasn't belted at his chest at point blank range? I imagine he'll be glad to go and play somewhere where the opposition don't keep kicking the ball at him.

That was a ridiculous game and a poor result. Their keeper Collins had an outstanding game but we missed a number of sitters. I thought the keeper just had one of them nights, he didn’t even know what was going on most of the time, the ball just hit him. Poor finishing cost us, particularly by Surridge. All in all though a cracking game which we all knew wouldn’t end our way when we missed the penalty.

Never a red, fucking games gone what a load of wank. I don't know what you saw but Smith was out of control and dangerous. I bet if you had been on the receiving end of that you would not say "never a red". Nowhere near a red pud. Yellow sure, but dangerous? Guy was on his feet running like a gazelle 10 secs after the card. Totally disagree with you.

Certainly a more enjoyable season than the utter wank we’ve witnessed over the last few years! Onwards and upwards💪🏻

Yes for me too. His fabled passing has been very poor, very disappointed with what I’ve seen since he’s arrived Move along Jacob, we’ve found a new whipping boy ? Second game, lacking match fitness thrown into a midfield that’s missing its cutting edge ! God help you if we lost. Too much of his play was careless. Match fitness had little to do with it.

brilliant match. Lost a bit of respect for them at the end. There players over reaction got Smith sent off and that melee was started by there manager holding onto the ball and there asst losing it. God knows what Delap was sent off for. Sima looked impressive in his time on the pitch. If we had natural finishers we would have buried them. Fair play to their keeper he was brilliant.

If Surridge could finish from 4 yards we win 4-1 irrelevant of the red card, finishing that shite is a disgrace.

Agree except for Sawyers. Think people are coming down too hard on him. His whole game is playing on a tightrope but he's clearly out of form. If he gets some form back (not confidence because he clearly still has that) then he is a top top champo player. People need to be patient. His demeanour generally is relaxed, he's not a Walters who is going to look like he's willing to go to war...

Had enough chances to have won but their keeper just had one of those games ,mixed in with some poor finishing.
Very frantic and in the end we could just as easily of lost.
Not a disaster though,we kept going and trying in win even with 10 v 11.
Ref had a mare towards the end. God knows what happened to his timekeeping.

Unbelievably bad finishing from Surridge Sima looks good though! 👍🏼 The one played across from tymon he should bury. But the other chances he’s done ok with. Make no mistake though, their keeper has had a worldie. His positioning and shot stopping was fantastic. Cross from Smith in first half (missed the ball) Cross from Tymon to the back stick (didn't keep his volley down) Cross from Smith where he slid in (straight at the keeper) Keeper made a great save against Vrancic's header tbf (but Surridge could've easily tapped home)

Played a lot worse and won games. There is a basic structure there and chances being made. I’ll live with that - just one of those nights in many ways.

Was it Schopp who actually kicked all that off by standing on the ball, trying to delay our throw? Yes Holden should’ve smashed him but as it was just gave him a nudge. Then their assistant went in with the chokehold from behind & the melee began. God knows what upset Rory but he was well up for a scrap.

Ugh. We ran into a keeper that played extremely well. We managed to find their keeper more times than Sawyers found a team mate. We should have blown them away qwith the amount of chances we had from point blank range.

A game given the chances we had we should have won but no doubt we will have a few of them this season. I don't think that Vrancic and Sawyers are as good as Powell. I don't think that you need both of them in the same team. Sima looke capable in the few minutes he was on the pitch. Clucas missed a sitter with his head and the goalkeeper got very lucky from another Clucas shot. He did more in fifteen minutes from the bench than he did in 90 on Saturday.
