Man City have absolutely stolen a 1-0 loss there. Villa were absolutely superb. The way Pep has set up all season has been a mess. He's making it ten times harder than it needs to be. Losing Gundogan and replacing him with Kovacic was always going to be a disaster, made worse by the loss of De Bruyne. Kovacic is a joyless footballer - makes everything look difficult. Spot on, he’s an overrated journeyman. Poor signing. It’s making for a great season though

Villa have won 15 home league games in a row. That’s some going. Especially when they are in the conference league as well. I wonder if Emery would fancy the England job once he’s done at Villa

Pochettino must be coming under some pressure. 9 points behind the lacklustre Man Utd after tonight and only a point ahead of Wolves and Fulham..
Pretty much any other manager would have been axed from that position by now. Their squad is abysmal though given the money they've spent.

Villa 12 shots to 2 after 45 minutes against Man City. Man City may go on to win the game but they have looked unconvincing this season. I can well imagine them losing their crown. Man City were stuttery first half of last season too. And Kev will be back early in the new year citeh look done to me, they got absolutely rinsed this evening.

Palmer looks like he will be a player, he's got brilliant touch and vision for his age. I like the fact he backed himself too.

Don’t know if Emery is a surname with local origins but you certainly here of it around the Stoke area. He could one day be lured here by the tantalising prospect of the of the builders merchants, which must be in very close proximity to the bet365 helipad 🙂 www.emerysltd.co.uk/Not a top level playing career, but as a manager… Four Europa League wins, three on the bounce at Sevilla is some going! Villa showed the benefits of actually shooting and making the keeper work. It has been an alien concept for far too long around here… en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unai_Emery

Villa are the real deal..... Glad they're doing well. They're a likeable team as well. My brothers a Villa fan and whilst I had to applaud that performance last night, aswell as their continuing mighty fine run and climb up the table, it's sure galling at the same time knowing Stoke are a million miles away from Villa right now! & there was just no need for this to be the case as there was, even if for a short time only a few seasons ago, where Stoke were the dominant Club between the two Midlands clubs. As they watch European and League glory unfold infront of their eyes, as my brother cheerfully reminded me, we lost at Plymouth at the weekend 🙄😬.. Its sure tough being a Stokie right now.. yet according to some on here, we must still happy clap the fact our owners are wonderful and brought us 10yrs of Premier League footy, some 7yrs ago now! 🙄😬 After some hit & miss managerial appointments over the years Villa seem to have landed a tactical genius who can navigate his way around different competitions well. Makes you wonder what Arsenal could have achieved had they not sacked him so soon, he never actually did a bad job there, finishing with a more than respectable 55.13% win ratio!

Sean Dyche's disk beard must be glowing. Huge win.

Is this the worst bottom three in premier league history?
Relegation is a non event this year already.
