This league is a nightmare, isn't it? Have the likes of Clarke and Roberts gone off the boil after looking like world beaters? Is Mowbray doing much wrong/different than before? Our tactic revolves around giving it to Clarke or Roberts and hoping for a bit of individual magic. I think having Amad last season gave us an edge that we don’t have this season, it’s looking like a mid table season which I won’t be too disappointed with but most Sunderland fans will be annoyed at it. Mowbray does have us playing some nice stuff, but doesn’t have much of a plan B. He will throw on players randomly if we’re struggling. Last night he brought on 4 subs at the same time, just pure desperation. I can see Clarke leaving in January for around £16m - £20m in January, not bad profit but it ends our season basically when he goes. His contract is out this season so we either get rid now or just plod along till end of the season, which makes the next few months for us very boring. Similar situation to you lot really. Neither of us will go down, but neither of us will be top 6 the way it’s going. Good luck getting £16-£20m in January for a player out of contract in June 🤔

Watching this Preston side is like watching Stoke. As soon as they look like making progress, the ball keeps going backwards. Playing safe-ball.

Things really have changed since the first games of the season. Some on here were fawning at Prestons run, but now they look totally without confidence. Kinda like us!

They’ve had some great opportunities to release the ball earlier & be in on goal but it’s either been too late or backwards. Commentator also said that it’s 10 years ago since he saw begovic score against Southampton for Stoke, 10 years! Where has that gone?

And look, they're also behind to fucking QPR!

I think you might have mistaken him for Ross Stewart, who we got £10m for, and is injured again until end of January. Edit: I think you’ve just got confused what I put in the message, it’s Mowbray out of contract end of the season!

WBA v Leicester on Sky now.....terrible game. Maybe they are cancelling each other out or maybe this division is awful.

That is criminal from West Brom to leave themselves so open to the counter in the 94th minute, a point would have been a good result for them.

Unfortunately it seems Everton are too good to go down. And fair play to Dyche, no fucker wanted him but they look much better than a couple of those before him
