The premier league table makes interesting reading. Aston Villa just two points from the top, what a fantastic job Emery is doing there!
On the flipside Man United are a mere six points from the top with a minus 3 goal difference.

Normally PL football does not take off until the second half but I am amazed at what I have seen here so far and they are still playing the first half!!?

It's insane how poor the officials are at using the technology.
Get that offside system that they used in the World Cup in, and bin the rest of it off for ever.

Totally agree Drives me wild and it's never affected Stoke. Must be garbage having to suffer it every week. It seems to be getting worse. It was worth bringing in but it hasn't worked. Sadly, it'll forever be here now, spoiling the fun. |

In answer to Carraghers question of why isn’t Sterling in the England squad. It’s pretty simple, we have players who have been playing better. But he’s played well today that’s for sure

4-4. Superb game. One of those if you were there as a fan supporting either side you’d think it was a game for the ages sod the result. Closest for me is the 4-4 v Luton. This however was a different class in different times. And Cole Palmer has cojones. |

Cole Palmer looks a fine player.
Great penalty, totally unflustered by the gamesmanship from Man City.
He was born on 06 May 2002… that was:
5 days after the 2-0 win at Ninian Park in the play off semi final.
5 days before the 2-0 win in the final at the Millennium Stadium.
He’s destined to play for Stoke 😉
