What a shambles Man United are. Ten Haag can’t have long Genuinely though 1 who do they replace him with? And 2 where can they realistically expect to finish? I'd say arsenal City Newcastle spurs all have better team then they're on par with like Chelsea villa Liverpool. But how many million would it cost them push city? A top class player now is 50-100 million now and they need about 6-7 players plus a keeper.

Not sure who would come in or how attractive they are to managers these days. Bet Fergie is furious!

Who would have thought Man United v Man City this afternoon would be 5th v 8th? Did you mean 8th v 5th ? Obviously game in hand and early season still.

I'd say they float between the 2 with possibly Chelsea with the strength of squad but united are miles away at the moment for me. They need a whole new defence midfield and keeper for me.

He left them on a downward spiral that, thankfully, they haven’t recovered from.

I have just seen the Man utd highlights and I can't believe the lack of pace in that team ...Maguire ( good header of the ball , very slow ) , Johnny Evans ( i thought he'd retired 3 or 4 years ago ! ) , eriksen ( I don't want to dwell on a huge scare . i have great respect for the lad but the man had a heart attack a couple of years ago ).
City defenders Walker and Ruben Diaz are like Usain Bolt compared to Maguire and Johnny Evans let alone forwards like Foden and Haaland
I think Vidigal and Hask would fancy their chances against Maguire and Johnny Evans
On top of everything , there is no where near enough pace in that team .

The most you can really say about United's transfers is that some on this board would have had an absolute meltdown if we signed Johnny Evans and that's at Stoke who have failed to do much of anything for half a decade. You're talking about one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Astounded by how totally outclassed the shit were. They were bloody dreadful. They were up against a remarkable team but rolled over like pathetic idiots

Jesus Christ Gary neville can’t half talk some bollocks One of the finest champagne socialists there is along with lineker. Carragher was right, how does a style of play which ten hag should be implementing, be a fault of the owners

Jesus Christ Gary neville can’t half talk some bollocks One of the finest champagne socialists there is along with lineker. Carragher was right, how does a style of play which ten hag should be implementing, be a fault of the owners Guardiola disagrees with you. And says it makes it easier to implement. And why wouldn’t it? If everything is harmonious then it makes it a lot easier to make it work. Neville’s point about the football dept being on edge and almost not with it because of the impending sale and taking over of that side makes a lot of sense too. The best clubs in the world have a clear line down from top to bottom. Now has he done a bad job? Of course but Neville was spot on too. I think it’s a big part of the problem we’ve had here.

Not sure why but I am watching Cov v W Brom.
I am biased but so far two boring sides in a stadium totally lacking in atmosphere.
If they are charging away supporters and kids the same as they are us serves them right. Playing W Brom in half term week the ground should be rocking.

Coventry have only scored 7 goals this season With a guy up front many we’re clamouring for before the season started scoring a grand total of 2 goals so far after having being signed for at least 5 million
