It was still a pen, regardless of what the gumbo commentators say. Not for me. Birmingham player slips and has lost control of the ball, minimal contact from Kipre after the ball had gone. Incredibly soft. He didn't slip, he lost balance because he wasn't tackling properly and wasn't in control. |

Having seen a few more replays at half time, I’m even more adamant that’s not a penalty. That fact that not a single Birmingham player appealed for it was a pretty big give away.
I’d be absolutely fuming if that was given against us.

You can’t be serious, if you pause it at a certain point you can possibly argue that it was 2 footed but in reality it just wasn’t. A 50/50 challenge clear as day. |

A basket case Club like Brum now upto 5th. FFS I know, frustrating as fcuk isnt it?! Blues definitely been a basket club in previous years but not so much now. They have serious backers, a belief that's pulling them up from the depths and a manager who clearly has a plan and a character that his players are quickly relating to & is paying dividends. They've had a great transfer window and a squad that appears to be singing off the same hymn sheet. Sadly the opposite to what we're currently experiencing. |

It's definitely a guess but you can understand why the ref made a mistake in this instance. In real time it looks clumsy and 2 footed. Having watched it at first I thought what was the problem with the decision but then when you see the replay close up it's never a pen. |
