This is never ever a red card. Studs showing I can understand it. Not for me, Clive. I think Nev has that spot on, it's a tackle where his foot has slipped over the ball which makes it look twice as bad. That being said, Liverpool will still win because that's just how it works. |

No chance is that a red, another great game potentially ruined by VAR If he gives a red straight away then you could just about see why, it wasn’t a great tackle. But he gave an acceptable yellow (in my opinion) and then VAR basically tells him it’s an “obvious” red, which it isn’t. It wasn’t a bad enough tackle to warrant a red. |

I wouldn't argue it too much and I get where you're coming from, but going in studs up could be considered dangerous which it turned out to be be so can understand if thats how they're looking at it. |

Surprised nobody has mentioned the Diaz offside in the first half as well.
Looked onside all day long and I've seen pics of it since and he was definitely onside, the fact that VAR never showed the lines as they usually do was really strange as well.
I thought the red card was harsh at first but after seeing it a few times it was a definite red card, Jones went in studs first over the top of the ball, irrelevant that he was going for the ball as Neville said.
