They can't blame the ref. Gave them a pen when Richarlison went into his theatrics . Unless Burnley win at Villa on Thursday should be ok Jags has had a good game as a pundit I reckon. Knows his stuff.

Personally I've always thought he looks very good for a man heading into his twilight years. In fact, I've even looked at him and thought "If I was a woman who had a thing for older man or some severe daddy issues, I'd want him to be my daddy". My mind is quite broken.

Didn't realise was that age at all. Can't remember who it was but some ex players book I read spent the entire game v Boro reminding Souness that he had slept with his then girlfriend until he eventually snapped and then lamped the player. Fantastic player and good pundit. Was just thinking he looked ill but am no Dr Nick Riviera

One thing that’s hard to understand is why teams in the championship (eg, us and Huddersfield) insist on passing either behind their own man or square, when it would just as easy and much more effective if they placed the pass so the receiving player could run onto it. Why don’t they watch how the Prem players pass the ball?

Is it me or in years gone by, were we never sure if away goals counted in the playoffs? I swear I’ve been at Stoke games when I was younger and no one was really sure about 80 minutes in.

Luton and Huddersfield, great game so far and both teams showing exactly why we were nowhere near the top 6. Determination, pace, team work and fast moving attacking football. Plus, commentator saying Huddersfield not spent a penny this season.

Good half that, plenty of tempo, and bravery, from both sides.
Take note, MON.

Makes you wonder why Jones couldn't get a tune out of the players here. We literally disintegrated before our eyes.
Is our club so poorly run that there is just complacency dripping out of every office that manifests itself through the entire club?
We're not talking about mid table Jones at Stoke followed by slightly better at Luton.
We're talking disastrous League One Jones here and borderline Premier League at Luton. Literally chalk and cheese.
Just a coincidence?
I always thought it odd that we went from trying to sign James Justin to Stephen Ward to James McClean at left back here yet at Luton he's brought in a perfectly rounded player in Amari Bell ? We can't say we can't afford that type of player because we can and could then, so why did we end up in that situation?

Luton and Huddersfield are two dreadful teams. This game is so short on quality. Absolutely abysmal.
Shows how poor we have been this season not to make the play offs.

These two are way better than we are, let's not kid ourselves. Two teams that have cost virtually nothing to put together. Better recruitment, players with more hunger, better managers.

Better managers? Jones had us rock bottom here. O'Neill has outperformed him in this job by quite some distance, both initially with results to keep us up and longer term whilst sorting out the finances and laying down a recruitment structure, blooding youngsters and keeping us comparatively competitive...? Think about that twisted logic for a moment? Surely it's got to run deeper than the manager here? How many more examples do we need? Jones has gone back to Luton and morphed miraculously into a manager that signs players with a purpose and a plan and has players fighting aggressively for him and his club. Just as he left them...

but let's not kid ourselves that these two were playing in games like this week, in week out.

Yeah, I'd say both have outperformed MON significantly. These two are not 3rd and 4th by accident. Jones didn't work out here. Maybe the egos in the dressing room are what did for him? He's got something about him, that's worked at Luton. He could be a Premier League manager in about 10 days time.
