Why hasn’t Steve Cooper got Surridge just poncing about in the channels, getting knocked off the ball and ambling around aimlessly? "Didn't settle", whatever that means! It means all along forwards haven't been the problem, its been the midfield.....for the last 6 years, it's been the midfield.

"Didn't settle", whatever that means! It means all along forwards haven't been the problem, its been the midfield.....for the last 6 years, it's been the midfield. Forest have lots of pace down the right side with Spence and Johnson that drags defenders out of place and leaves lots of room for Surridge to drift in from the left and play to his strength as a goal poacher. Even today he had a glorious chance in the first half, 8 yards out and his shot barely reached the keeper. He is a great example of someone who if you don't play a style that suits him completely is going to be a passenger. Sheffield Utd are a bit better this half but it still looks more likely that Forest will score a 2nd than they will equalise. As I was saying.........

I really wished that shot of David Johnson celebrating his son's goal would have been Kevin Campbell celebrating Tyresse's goal oh the jealousy in an alternative universe.
If either side had decent forward they would have won the tie by now.

That goal has probably just kept Sheff Utd in the tie. (Maybe their "Deon Burton" moment?)
Whatever Sheffield Utd are going to have to play much, much better in the 2nd leg.

Be happy enough if Forest went up. Proper football club and not the Bournemouth plastic type. As mentioned, if what Forest and Sheffield United have done doesn’t make it clear just how inept MON is, I don’t know what will.

Huge weekend , I fancy West Ham might cause city an upset , ( hope not but it’s a very difficult game ) so liverpool win today and it could get very interesting on the quadruple front Can't see Liverpool usurping Man City. Or beating Real Madrid for that matter. I think Liverpool will run all over Madrid Chelsea more of a threat

Seeing Salah just walking off as if there was no problem as if he was just taking a walk in the park reminds me of Bojan just walking off as if there was no problem in Spotland all those years ago.

Liverpool not at the top of their game but ok enough today. Been winning but not playing as well as we're used to seeing them. I think the game coming at a bad time
