I don't know what he has done over the summer but it has worked.
Unrecognisable

He always looked nervous like he was a fan who had won the chance to play a game.
With this confidence he looks great.

Completely different player than last season Night and day. His confidence must’ve been shot last season and he’s a youngish lad. I hope he continues to develop. Let’s face it, only a seriously weird sadist would want a person to fail, even stranger when they play for your club.

Take a fucking bow son. Absolutely class today I don't know what he has done over the summer but it has worked. Unrecognisable I don’t think being shunted around everywhere has helped. LWB is certainly his best position and MON giving him confidence by starting him ahead of Alfie must be huge for him. Long may it continue

Best spell he's had in the team. His crosses are perfect for Smith back post as well, Smith just needs to get there and get on them (not easy at full stretch).

22 played for England at basically all junior levels. Our back 5 is very exciting. Hopefully we get him signed up to a long contract.

I wonder if they have had him with a sports psychologist I think this guy who’s come in as a player development coach or whatever his title is is having a big influence.

He's always had it in him. Last time we beat Forest at their place he was brilliant too. Confidence is such a big thing in nogger.

Great credit to O'Neill for this one for his perserverance,Tymon definitely wanted to leave last season but the manager told him he had faith in him,and he's certainly repaying it.

The lad was extremely highly rated as a youngster. That doesn’t happen for no reason. Chuffed he’s realising his potential.

Wasn't it mad Nath that hooked him that time ? forget who against.. shot his confidence. MON is showing excellent man management skills with him & also Brown.

22 played for England at basically all junior levels. Our back 5 is very exciting. Hopefully we get him signed up to a long contract. I've been posting on here for years that people are being very critical of a very young player. He played in the Prem at a very young age then got transferred to Stoke when Hull were relegated and joined a very dysfunctional dressing room as had been mentioned elsewhere on this MB today. I think he was improved by his loan abroad and came back a young man instead of a boy. He was outstanding at the end of MON's first season but again lost his way. Maybe because he is still young and will not be 23 till next May. Performances are built on self confidence and clearly his is shaky at times. Another year and we could be in problems keeping him from joining a bigger club.

How much of this is down to Holden?
