Whatever was on channel 3 looked like a shopping channel. Bizarrely after the initial tv noise it switched straight over to the DVD player which hasn't been used for months and no before anyone asks there wasn't a disc in the machine. Needless to say I switched the tv off at the socket. |

I have a worse problem, my tv switches itself off after 4 hours if I don’t mess with the remote. I’ve missed many a wicket when that happens🤨

Did you know that most tvs come with an on/ off switch AND plug to the mains.....I think that the instructions on how to switch off are in the manual. How's the drug rehabilitation course going iirc you got kickedoff the last one.....could you have been imagining it/ on a trip? |

I have another TV problem. It has happened 2 times at my place and 1 time somewhere else, all 3 occasions with the remote control 1 meter in front of me on a table - but noone holding it or touches it. The volume increases quickly and to extremely loud levels! It did yesterday at 23.40, which woke up my neighbours. But I didn't touch it. The remote was on the table. When I pressed the volume down on the remote "someone" pressed volume up, so it was a battle for a few seconds and the bl@ di volume scale appeared on the screen up and down and up it went. In panic I jumped to the TV and pressed power off. Poltergeist? |
