Superb end to Men's high jump and the Venezuelan lady who got the world record in the triple jump nearly jumped over the pit . Sensational and she looks so unconventional,not as I know what I'm on about .

I always keep telling the younger generations of my family when they go on about British and American sports persons, that the greatest athlete of all time was a Fin. 22 world records, 9 gold medals, 3 silver (never less than 2nd at any Olympics), and unbeaten for 122 races for a period. What the oatcake EE board was made for a person in Australia and one in Sweden discussing a match being played in Japan about why a decision was made. Now in GB the match only shown to H/T gone to hockey now. |
