Another petition should be to stop this covid crapola in pubs instead. Give pubs a chance. Complete tokenism that does literally nothing for any virus, but strangles the trade. I watched the scenes in Copenhagen that were free, while we have tables, limited numbers, bookings, no standing, and sheep pens. Granted, a lot of it is not enforced, but there's always that threat for landlords. Give us our lives back.

Pickford, for some reason was back to his hyperactive worst. He has been pretty steady up to now but last night he was an accident waiting to happen. Stick with him though, as will Southgate, needs a session with his shrink before hand. We got stronger the game went on last night, game management was top drawer. We have to be wary of their pace on the counter, Stones and Maguire went walkabout twice and if that happens again we will get punished. These players are still learning though and have made great strides since being booed off v Scotland. Heart and head says our name is on it, wallet says different with £350 winnings coming with an Italian win, £50 at 6/1. Cash out offer is £150, do I don't I?

Any news on the laser situation/s? Will it be Italy-Denmark in the final after all? 🤔 Has it gone through? If so, in a way sort of similar to the game Denmark vs Sweden in another tournament when there was a nude person running around and we got the victory by 3-0.

Fitness counts!!! Holland, 1974 World Cup.....visibly thinner than other teams.....swarmed the ball like a pack of hungry cheetahs. Shame then that West Germany won the final. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/0m0lbCuTEBzaRn6f8QaM.gif) I know, I'm still having nightmares over it.

Well deserved final for both teams, definitely the best 2 teams in the tournament. That's very generous of you Doc. I thought there were times when the French played some sublime stuff. If you lose to Swiss, so you don't deserve it or you didn't badly want it, they have better players but they were not one of the best 2 teams in the tournament for me (and I didnt watch all games, may be I am wrong).

This. Having the best players doesn’t make you the best team. Sum of the whole vs sum of the parts.

Not sure what Italian match I watched but they looked absolutely amazing and hard to see them not winning the competition but the likes of Austria and more so Spain highlighted that they can and will be beaten (3-1 btw) come Sunday.
Mightily impressed with Southgates team selections so far and yes I criticised him massively in the group stages but we’ve still got bags of energy throughout the team and from the bench.
Southgate knows his starting eleven for Sunday and in my opinion will try and dictate the game in the Italian half in order to stop their passing game, don’t think the Italians have an abundance in pace going forward??
My only concern now is that we have a fair ref who’s not influenced by our win over Denmark and the negative hype of the winning penalty.

He's a top ref and will have a few cards marked you'd think. italy also. I turned down a ticket yesterday as pushed to make it there in time. Was at the Van Basten final at least

I paid through the nose for a ticket today.
It’s a once in a lifetime ticket though.
Come on England.

Have they caught the guy/s with the laser pen yet? Last word I heard was fine of £10.000.
England is not likely to lose their place in the final.

That is a very one sided article, the ref was pretty generous to Denmark in my opinion, there should’ve been 4-5 booking for the Danes for blatant fouls / holding which he let them off with, and the free kick they scored from was never a free kick. The penalty could’ve gone either way but if it really was a bad decision it would’ve been overturned by VAR. Whoever is responsible for the laser should never be allowed to attend another sporting event, for the England team to suffer because of that though would be ridiculous, if it was to happen in a game at Wembley where England were not involved who would suffer then? and who knows if it was an England fan in the first place (likely I know, but not certain until they find the culprit). The news across Europe seems to be very anti English, even the Italians have the nerve to call us cheats despite their antics every single game they play, presumably they thought Denmark would be an easier match in the Final but given their physicality I’m not sure they would be as the Italians are quite a small team. I hope we respond on the pitch with a convincing win on Sunday, I don’t expect other nations to like us (especially after the disaster that is Brexit) but we are not cheats.

Tough game.
Best two teams in the tournament.
We stand a chance but will need a bit of luck.

The thing is I read UEFA decided once to give one team a 3-0 win just because some village idiot invaded the pitch. The game was between Denmark and Sweden, and the reason lack of security.

My lad bought me a final ticket for my last birthday, then got his money back due to reduced numbers. Not sure how much he paid but last week he managed to get them back again. Face value E295...Wembley here we come! ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/3zptH1h3SvRnVmRGLyMP.gif) Once in a lifetime opportunity...probably Brilliant! Enjoy your day LP! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/0m0lbCuTEBzaRn6f8QaM.gif) OS. Cheers Mick. I watched the '66 final with my dad, on TV (Black & White) so seeing this one in full glorious colour, with my lad, will be quite an experience...especially if we win! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/KYqg3pYeaerc5lD_P7BR.gif)

It’s been done for weeks even the refs And Var refs are joining in now 😏 on a serious not it will take a very good team to beat England at Wembley on a final after the last two years And Italy are solid but not very good .

Ive personally thought from day 1 we have the best squad in the tournament. Kane Grealish Mount Foden Phillips Rice Sancho Saka have all had brilliant seasons just to name a few.
Sterling had been immense this tournament. He seems to get so much stick. I just think hes become on of the best footballers in europe in my opinion.
Gareth i think i would like to say thank you. For a long time now in my opinion there has been a distant gap between supporters and the national team because of so many failed tournaments lackluster performances wrong managers. You have given back that connection with the team and fans again though. A decent world cup and a first final since 66 you have made the England supporter excited about tournament football and given them a real hope.
Ive had a little bet. Im going England 1-0 Italy in 90mins Sterling to score.

It’s in the bag then all thanks to Bozzer 👍👍
The theory was taken up by Gazzetta dello Sport, Italy’s most influential sports newspaper. The newspaper said: “The very generous penalty, which allowed Southgate’s team to beat Denmark confirms the suspicions about the exchange of favours with Boris Johnson, considered the savior of European football after the attack on the Superleague.” After Johnson vowed to block English football teams from competing in the new breakaway league, Aleksander Ceferin, the president of UEFA praised the UK government saying he was "impressed by their efficiency”.
