Fair few trialists, any ideas as to who they may be?.

Why is it policy to never name the trialists? Surely they will know their names. Can we not just put Name (trialist)?

I'm guessing it's so other clubs aren't aware of any potential interest, but in this day and age it must be quite difficult to keep that under wraps. Although in fairness we seemed to have managed it today....

Glad to see he's making a decent career for himself finally after his stint abroad. Was somewhat of a flat track bully when in our academy sides, hence the upwards progression of Tyrese over him.

England U17s played an in house friendly vs each other. One team won 3-2 with Emre Tezgel (U16) scoring 2 and Jack Griffiths (U17) scored the other. Both on the same team.

Ryanjay Malbon (U18) right winger joined Stafford Rangers on 6 month work experience / loan. Previously had a spell with Hanley Town

U18s lost 4-2 to West Brom. U16s won 4-1. Who’s playing for the 18s? 23s drew 2-2 with Telford and Tezgel and Griffiths were on the bench there. And I’m guessing they’re the best two players for the 18s? Wright-Phillips and Macari scored for us

Good luck to Reading fans making up a song / chant for their striker if he breaks through, tough one to rhyme there.

Griffiths & Emre watched the U18s in the morning, not sure if they got on vs Telford

1-1 now - but Tezgel impressing

1-1 now - but Tezgel impressing He does sound the most promising striker we have had at the Academy for years. And great to see that his promise has already been recognised by England. The worry is, of course, that the better he is the more likely he is to be poached. Until they are old enough for a pro contract, losing potential young stars to a big club has to be the main worry.

1-1 now - but Tezgel impressing Can do without him impressing clubs like Liverpool ! Edit - didn’t see Lakeland’s post - exactly my thoughts.
