Feels like the footage is speeded up However that's just the contrast with the first team Rooster in anyone? By the way 3 good goals there get that Baggies trialist signed up

I know it’s only highlights I’ve seen but there seems a genuine flow to the way that the youngsters play that just doesn’t translate to the first 11. If I lived locally I would certainly get myself over to watch the various age groups. Rooster and his team have done a heck of a job in the last few years.

Simkin’s pass for the first goal would get him so much abuse in a league game 😂🤦♂️What a lovely goal.

Glad that he’s managed to play a lot of games, even in a somewhat nothing league. I wonder if he’ll be in contention for the seemingly vacant right (wing) back spot.

Exactly, they all seem to either run with the ball or pass one touch or as soon as they have it under control. Lovely to watch rather than the hesitancy you see in the first team. Although there is a lot more space for them to play like that. I can see why SWP was shocked at how little time he had to do anything before being closed down.

Far too big a leap you’d have to think I’d have thought so also. At 20, the time must be approaching where we have to consider if he’s worth it or not. I kind of think that we’ll try to put him in the shop window for a league 2 club to loan for 6 months by trying him out in pre-season.

Needs a decent loan to League 1 to stand any chance of making the first team the season after.

Presumably Macari is eligible, even Coates if completed his not-exactly-set-the-world-alight spell on the bench at tier 2 Cork City.
I was wondering about Taylor (D). Other players seem to have played for our U23s while out on loan. Fylde seem set for the playoffs but he was on such a good streak of goals with us it would be nice to have him back for this game and inshallah the final if he's allowed to play in both teams.

I can’t imagine Fylde would risk it. I wouldn’t be happy having him do double duty at such an important period of their history it I was one of their supporters. I wonder how Taylor will turn out. Brown was 19 when he got a loan to league 2. Taylor is 20 and playing two divisions below. I hope he can get another goal or two and get himself a loan higher up next season. Coates however, looks very unlikely to make it.

Now this maybe a case of me over thinking things but last week Forest took 5,700 fans to the FA Youth Cup Final at Old Trafford. I get there's the unhealthy cudos of visiting Old Trafford which let's face it, I bet a large proportion of Forest fans have never be able to do. & the fact it was a prestigious youth final. But seeing as their U23's are now playing us in the Play Off Semi Final is it far fetched to think that they may possibly be a good hundred if not thousand or so Forest fans deciding to head to the match on Sunday at the Bet365? The reason I mention this is that the Forest website appears to have cut and pasted the details of this weekends fixture from our website & straight on to their NFFC website including the details about free parking, free admission & no tickets being required with fans to enter via the Franklyn Stand Door B, the same as Stoke! Perhaps they won't show as much interest in this match but as they seem to be on crest of a wave at the moment & the fans appear to be rolling with it, if a good following of Stoke fans rock up, aswell as even a few hundred Forest fans, housing all in the same part of the ground may not be the brightest idea. This me over thinging it or is it potentially a cluster waiting to happen?!

If you look on social media it's clear there will be a healthy contingency of Forest fans there (not sure if that will be thousands but I would suggest they might have several hundred). I wonder whether the club might open the away end if they gauge the same thing.......

Not sure they've quite joined the dots together or possibly even aware Forest have copy and pasted the instructions Stoke have put out for their fans.

Might be worth tweeting Josh Whittaker-Vyse.
