Cunts should've been wound up a month ago. Why would you wind a club up that had several potential take overs in the wings? They did the right thing giving them time rather than a knee jerk which would have suited nobody. If there were no interest then ok but there was plenty and is now done

That’s the rules round Limited Companies though mate. Derby are now a totally different company to the one owing the debt. Morally they should pay everything in full. Legally there’s no obligation. They didn't go bust so wouldn't it be the same company? You could be right actually. I’m no expert on insolvency but I would say they’re still the rules round admin.

Yep and of course the EFL would have had to suffer the backlash of a club going to the wall not giving them time when were deals in the offing. Was clear they were in a position to be rescued unlike Bury etc previously

It's a credit to the creditors for a fast and favourable out come.

I don’t mind them signing players. God knows they need them. But what stinks is that some agent somewhere is getting a fee for that, whilst local companies who supplied them and are still owed money will get fuck all.

Yes mate I agree it seems very unfair to the creditors and it was exactly the same when Leicester did it years ago as well.Looks like they’re announcing signings all night at this rate having already announced Thompson,Cashin and Davies have signed new contracts and now a new keeper

Doesn’t mean he’s any good Never heard of him just wondering why it’s in vogue to have an additional Hispanic name added to a seemingly incompatible one. Who’s next Roberto Carlos Wilmot? Has been for hundreds of years with many Hispanic families. The Mother's maiden name isn't dropped but used as a middle or double barrel name to still identify her family. Many footballers have double barrel names but don't use both as a player. Andres Iniesta Lujan for example. Xavi is Hernandes xxxxx. Forget the add on but has another name

This has a wolves feeling about it. Owner buys club has big ambition Owner business goes pear shaped. Owner can't afford club. The new owner is apparently worth £250 million, so he’s apparently purchased the club for £50million and it’s not clear if that includes the ground ? Now that’s a fifth of his wealth gone before the arrival of the cavalry who will probably need a signing on fee before they commit to a contract, something just doesn’t sit easy, like the EFL & administrators have panicked and agreed the sale to anyone apart from Mike Ashley.

Apparently he’s worth 800 million Which won’t go far Most of the online biographies of Mr Clowes have his Net wealth at around £250 million, but saying that most couldn’t tell you if he was married or had children, which could change things drastically, imagine coming home and telling your partner that you have just purchased Derby County ? I think those divorce papers would be sitting on the solicitors desk by tomorrow morning

Their fans have certainly got the bug again after all the turmoil of over a year ago😳good support that in league One Excellent support that is. I get alot of our fans have lost interest with our drab run of seasons but alot are also very fickle. Need to take the rough with the smooth when supporting your club, those lost numbers we've sustained since our relegation would soon start coming back if we did manage to put together some kind of promotion charge. I'm not happy with what we've been served up the last few seasons but will so go, it's the hope that keeps you going. Even through Derby's tough time a season or so back they kept attending & supporting their struggling team. Stoke fans go on about being loyal & criticising clubs with small followings, but as things go, we are well down the pecking order when it comes to well supported clubs.
