3 points at third position in the table won't be enough to go through. Denmark beat Russia and Belgium beat Finland => 3 teams on 3 points. Goal difference Denmark beat Russia they will be ahead on goal difference And if Belgium stick a couple past Finland then Denmark finish second

I must have been lol. Why is it? I may be wrong but I think they've got some scheme there, with testing and stuff which allows them to do that. Others will enlighten you much better than I can mate, I'm just going off something I read on here a few days ago. 👍

I can’t see the reason there is no incentive for a team to attack once there in front if goal difference is basically irrelevant Go one in front and shut up shop

So how can it go on " whom beat whom"? Or am I being a bit of a thicky 🤷♂️

Four out of six teams in third position will go through. I think 4 pts will be required. 🙂

I can’t see the reason there is no incentive for a team to attack once there in front if goal difference is basically irrelevant Go one in front and shut up shop Sometimes it could work out like that yeah. But you avoid the scenario of Team A roundly beating Team B, only for Team B to qualify at Team A's expense because they thrash a desperately poor Team C in the final group game when Team C have given up and are playing their reserves.

4 out of 6 teams in 3rd position in the groups will go through to the next stage.
Based on:
1)The number of points they have.
2)Best goal difference
3)Most goals scored
4)Most fair play-points
5)Ranking by UEFA
The last, the number 5 is interesting. To me it should be based on how they've managed at the Euro 2020, but I doubt it.

Looking unlikely At present, Denmark having all the chances. Denmark have been absolutely superb, can they keep this intensity up for 90+ minutes though? Answer: no 😂
