This game is by far the most important for us as I see it.
A win would see us really establish ourselves as true promotion candidates.It would also put further pressure and importance on St, Peter to really dig deep in the War Chest to maintain our promotion push by splashing the cash.
Apart from any future play-off games I see this one as probably the biggest tester and most important of the season.If we can manage to get that vital win,then the morale boost it would provide...absolutely immense for a number of reasons/issues.
My prediction is therefore 2-1 to the Mighty Potters.

Watford's team spirit at the moment is good, came from 2-0 down away from home in the week, and won 3-2.
Also another thing to mention, is that when they play away they have the most goals in a game, 3.44 average, so worth a punt on a over 2.5goals, think there at full strength.
My prediction ---- 1-0 Stoke (Cort 50 Min's)

Lawts...It went along the lines of how good he was in the air and on the ground...'He's got everything' was the phrase used.
Smithy also said that he thought that Pulis would be 'Desperate to sign up Shawcross until the end of the season'.
He added that he thought it would be a good idea for all concerned as Shawcross would never have a chance in the United first team as the standard was so high.!

I dont think Man Utd is going to be the issue with Ryan. Someone like Sunderland or a lower Premiership team will fancy their chances in January. Why not Middlesbrough? Or even Newcastle? You never know, of course he is about 5th or 6th choice centre back atm for United.

I think that on paper they should beat us well, but we seem to have really gelled as a team and we are off the back of some great results, regardless of how bad Sheff Utd were to win 3-0 at BL is still a big boost for the team, and coupled with the fact that Watford's form has been indifferent at best lately i think we could turn them over. Cort looks to have made the defence alot more solid, cresswell is in fantastic goalscoring form and Fuller is always a massive threat.
So thats a roundabout way of saying Stoke 1-0, Cresswell 64.

When we are the underdogs this is the time when we are most dangerous...!
I'm therefore going to change my prediction to 3-1.
This could be the turning point in our season.!

It won't be the end of the world if we lose, but I think putting up a good show is very important. We'll be in the public eye on tv, have season ticket holder 'guests', and maybe some prospective players watching how we do. However, a win would be MARVELLOUS!!!!!! Not having Shawcross is a blow. 1-1  |

Definately not our biggest game of the season because our biggest game was that of QPR at the Brit after our few losses prior to this at home.
The above will enable us to have a much better mindset and this should simply be looked at as another great chance of getting 3 points as opposed to our biggest game of this current season.
