When he says certain elements about stoke he'd like to beat do you think he means this in relation to our weak/fancy squad? Due to them typically being the types of teams he beats. But you'd think getting them within a game of the play-offs on their budget would cut him a touch more slack. And only one loss in the last 5. Wonder if they've decided to pull the trigger and try for John Eustace before he gets poached by another team in the next few weeks (ie possibly us!)

Since getting promoted in 16-17, other than a 21st, Millwall’s finishing positions have been remarkably consistent.
Similar consistency to Stoke but far more impressive with higher finishing on less resources.
2017-18 8th
2018–19 21st
Rowett:
2019–20 8th
2020–21 11th
2021–22 9th
2022–23 8th
I reckon Rowett fancies a job closer to home….

Nathan Jones, Chris Wilder & Lampard being linked aswell albeit their not fancying them and they'd all get linked to every job going!

I remember on one of the Champ podcasts I listen to mentioning it a few weeks back that he'd hit back at some of the chants he recieved. Plus I think they've been signing 'his football is s#!&e' since the start of the season. Still. Strange to go now and not a few weeks ago. They must have a replacement ready. |
