We’ve finished 16th, 15th and 14th in the last three years. The squads crap. I don’t care what Barnsley have done, they are just one side out of 24 who’s over performed. it’s not that they have over performed.. they dropped on the right manager.. we could be in this situation for years on end until we drop on the right manager.. look at the amount of managers Leeds went through before biesla.. an how long it took them too get back up It’s nothing to do with the manger. Our clubs in a mess and has been for years. If it wasn’t for MoN we would be in league 1 with Sunderland and Ipswich. |

Stoke haven't,so far, fallen to those depths during the current hard times. |

Would he laugh at a multi million pound bonus for getting us promoted? Yes because there’s not a cat in hells chance of this squad getting promoted. With proper leadership and an extra year of maturity for our young players there is every chance of us being promoted. If Vokes had scored that penalty we would have been top of the table nearly half way through the season. |

If either Rowett or Jones had been in the same position when they joined the club as MON was then we would certainly be looking forward to a season in Div 1. |

It's true we took some good form from the previous season in to the start of this season having added Fletch and Mikel in the summer. Notwithstanding the Thyrese injury it's simply inexplicable to me why we fell apart as we did. MON seemed to blame it on a collective exhaustion, a team wide fatigue, both mental and physical. But why? We played the same games as anyone else. |
