I thought they normally finished roughly at the same time or have I been living in a time warp?
It will make it a long summer for anyone not involved in play-offs.

And an unnecessary amount of midweek games for the Championship

And the Euro's start on the 11th of June. Some rest for the players involved.

You would have thought the Prem would have finished the same time as the better players are in the Prem and alot would be going to the Euros, but no they flog the Championship to death doing 3 games a week for most of the season, basically at least 11 games behind .

The EFL has always finished sooner to get the play off games in.

I suppose the non-Prem divisions have a play-off competition to squeak in but that only involves 4 teams. I'm pretty sure they normally finish at roughly the same time leaving and extended season for the 4 play-off teams and normally 4 or 5 Prem teams involved in the FA Cup Final and the finals of the 2 European competitions.

I think that I read a while back that the Prem has purposely dragged it's feet so that the final couple of games would have a chance at fans.
