They must be fuming !
They would have finished the season on 47 points , 3 points ahead of Derby and 3 points clear of relegation if it was not for ...
A six points deduction "for breaching financial regulations over the three year accounting period ending in 2017-18"
Compared to man utd Chelsea arsenal man city Liverpool and spurs attempt, to destroy the game , make sure they get all the best players for ever and prevent the likes of Leicester ever winning the league ever again , that is petty . The six shysters all get off Scot free , while Sheffield Wednesday are hammered for ... breaching financial regulations over the three year accounting period ending in 2017-18.
Okay it is an infringement of the rules but compared to what man utd and co got away with , it's a technicality and small time at that .

Just think, if they hadn't have appointed Tony Pulis, and his 10% win ratio, they'd have survived with ease.

Agree but what Iβf man United now win the premier league as a result of fans forcing a game postponement so presumably we can expect a 6 point reduction for them too ( Iβll bet we donβt )

As for the big clubs signing the best player then they generate the most money so hardly destroying the game. the way it is. Leicester won the league in recent years and again challenging the top 4, really don't see your point. Man U broke no rules. Sheff Weds did.

How about the miracles at Stoke, Plymouth, Palace and WBA. All saved from certain relegation. The only embarrassing posts are those that repeatedly doubt TP.

Just think, if they hadn't have appointed Tony Pulis, and his 10% win ratio, they'd have survived with ease. He has to take some of the responsibility for their relegation 0.22% of it to be precise. to add to his contribution to West Brom's relegation in 2017-18

TP simply had to sort out the issues as a stage in turning the club around. You might remember his early days at SCFC where a similar start was seen including a 6-0 reverse at Forest. And at WBA he performed yet another miracle by saving them from relegation.

Selling Berahino, whilst being on a drugs ban, for Β£12m was a master stroke, absolutely embarrassed the club he sold him too...

Morbid curiosity: Took a lurk on Wednesday's forum. I was aware of the FFP sanctions, fan-boycotts, not paying players, crazy-ass owner etc. but damn! Saying that club is a right mess would be the understatement of the year.
A death spiral due to pilot error and whether or not they pull out of it is a coin-toss. The gravity crocodile got them. Now the reaper of administration has strangled & ate the damned crocodile and is chasing their club in earnest. Another old club running for its very life. There was no pleasure in reading the posts over there. (Nor did I expect any)
