3. Football is bordering on unwatchable, low scoring, too much emphasis on clean sheets and defending, too many draws would seem to prefer to draw rather than maybe lose trying to win.

5 would be average so 6.5 for me. If we analogise this season to a night playing poker then he's done well to come away with almost the same money he went in with considering some of the shit hands he's been dealt.

4.5 from me. He’s had problems with injuries but the tactics over the last 20 games or so have been awful We’ve been the slowest team in the league and it’s bored the pants of me I’ve got my ticket for next season but I can’t say I’m really looking forward to it

When will MON’s departure be announced? That’s a long way off. Not much chance of a sacking this summer, he’ll only leave if he decides to. If he starts next season badly then he may be under pressure but I doubt the board are even close to considering sacking him right now.

Can’t put a number on it but ...... You would think the one thing we might have learned from the last few seasons is that managing Stoke City at the moment is no walk in the park. Rowett and Jones have clearly shown they are capable of doing a half decent job elsewhere but each in their own way were totally flummoxed by what they faced here. MON is dealing with a multitude of issues whilst dragging a team up by its boot laces. Absolutely nothing meant we were guaranteed even survival in this league at the start of the season but at least he turned our worries away from that into more aesthetic ones regarding the ‘style’ of football we play. He is in the middle of the job, taking us step by step to a better place and deserves patience and a little understanding from a group of supporters who should have the nous to realise what the situation has been and is. He should have full backing and support.

7 Must be massively frustrating not being able to buy the game changing players you want to because of the financial constraints and former signings on big wages with long contracts. He has given youngsters a chance but has seemed limited with his tactical nouse and annoyingly loyal to under performers. I can’t see promotion or play offs until 22/23 season under any manager.

5.5.
It's been very disappointing, even with all the mitigation you could possibly offer.
But I still think we're definitely best served sticking with him - and let's face it, he's obviously going nowhere. I think he's the right man for us
I don't think we're that far off where you'd expect, position-wise, given the quality of squad and injuries we've dealt with. I think somewhere between 10th and where we've finished is fair enough
But the season has been an absolute chore since Christmas.
It has been a freakish season though, and it's felt pretty unreal for fans of all clubs. If you look around all clubs, most fans are pretty disillusioned and looking forward to a few months off before the return to real football come August

For my own rating system, which is completely arbitrary depending on my mood.
Everyone starts on a 6.
+4 for playing the youth -2 for the vokes issue -3 for stubborness to make in game mgmt (inc subs) when it's clear they need making +1 for sometimes wearing suits -1 for agreeing to sometimes wear the official tracksuit
Total 5. Slightly underwhelming after last season's heroic and cavalier results. I know injuries have played their part, but he relly hasn't helped himself at times.

Fell away alarmingly after Christmas. Fortunately we had enough points on the board to steer well clear of any relegation worries, but didnt have enough in the tank, thru injuries and some questionable tactics, to press for a top 6.
If we start well again next season, he needs to ensure he has enough guile and acumen to stay the distance regardless of injuries, as he could be reaching for an early guinness if we falter that bad again.

3, not going to let today's game sway my decision on what's been a dreadful (football-wise) season!!!
The first half of the season wasn't great by any stretch, but it's a good job we got most of our points on board, cuz the second half has been nigh on abysmal!!!

I agree, I think we were pretty poor even when results had us challenging in and around the top six. Don’t think he has the mentality to produce a team that scores or wins enough to win the league, automatic promotion or be decent to watch.

I agree with this as well. 3 for me too - even when we were winning earlier in the season I thought that we never really looked like serious play-off contenders. The second half has been utterly abysmal and the games have been dour to watch. The football has been terrible and if the crowd had been in the stadium I'm not sure if he'd still be manager.

It all looked so bright after the grandstand finish to the previous season and the signings of Mikel, Fletcher and allegedly a proper left back in the summer.
We actually started quite well for 16 games but since then we've been as close to hopeless as makes no difference.

With two games to go we were still in real danger of getting relegated. Some of our performances post lockdown were worse than anything we’ve seen this season.

Yes but remember we went from rock bottom and sunk without trace to finish 15th? We played 6 matches in the final July and lost 5-0 to Leeds but of the other 5 we won 4 and drew 1 scoring 12 goals in the process. That's as close to 'grandstand' as we've been for a few seasons isn't it?!

Hes got a bit of credit in the bank from last season but he really needs to hit the ground running next season. His recruitment campaign is vital

For every decent performance, there was at least one to counter it that stank the place out.

6.5. A crazy campaign that promised so much in its early stages but delivered so little. Blighted by injuries to key players- so much so we became a dour outfit at times. If only we had just stuck to the way we played back end of last season. Positive of the season has been the emergence of the younger players- credit MON for playing them- could do us the world of good in next couple of seasons. We need to keep the faith in MON.

6 Don’t think anybody would’ve done any better in the circumstances. Some players not good enough, some don’t want to play for us and injuries dictated. I think the form from the season before has showed us he is as good as we would attract. Sure there would be a few takers if he got pissed off with the shenanigans around him.
