It has to be a generous 6. A decent start to the season but injuries to key players and a restricted transfer window (granted a lot to do with FFP) but a dour 2nd half of the season granted the injury list got bigger but the insistence to persist with Vokes baffling most of us and playing 5 at the back at home against some really poor teams put paid to any chance of a top half finish and positive goal difference. Gouranga.

6/10
Working in difficult circumstances, but I said at the end of last season I would be happy with a stress-free mid table finish after the trauma of last season and recent years. some disappointing performances but 21 clean sheets is a very good achievement.

6/10. Expectations may have been a bit unrealistic, but after a good start, the play offs were within our reach
Winning the last game may encourage a few more to renew their season ticket

I didn’t think we’d be promotion challengers this season but I thought we’d finish comfortably top half so to finish in the bottom half with a negative goal difference is a pretty poor effort in my opinion.
I can count on one hand the number of games I’ve actually enjoyed this season which is a reflection on the dour football we’ve had to watch week in week out.

Injuries have killed us, but the second half of the season has been a huge disappointment.
We’ve finished 4/6 places lower, and with ten points fewer than I anticipated we would.

I'm going to give him 8/10. He has some massive faults that he needs rid himself of for next season. Saying that I predicted a finishing position between 10th and 14th at start of season and believe without the injuries he may have finished just inside top 10. It's a bit unfair to rate his first full season in charge at this level but now he's set his benchmark.
Think he's more a solid Championship manager but not clever enough to be a promotion chasing manager.

4, I agree with some of the above that we were never going to be promotion challengers but some of MON handling of the squad has been shocking, over playing players, poor managing of returning players, dropping those inform etc.

Disappointing, but there's reasons for the slight underperformance, and I'd rather us go with stability next season rather than risk some big upheaval.

8 for the first half, 4 for the second. Averages out at 6/10 for me.
I’m still behind him but he needs a good start next season.

He'll start next season with a good sense of momentum, but, come August he'll probably have forgotten what/who it was that gave him that upward direction.
Like many others, I agree it's a 6. He doesn't actually boast about this new clean sheet record, but from his interview you can tell it means a lot to him. It shouldn't.
The game today is like a microversion of some typical mistakes he's made all season. He doesn't rotate players, he doesn't sub until very late, and only two. He's wasted the opportunity to use five subs, because next season we'll return to three. He doesn't go on all attack, even though we're two goals clear. The goals today were scored by defenders. Although he had plenty of attacking options on the bench they stay there, Vokes obviously not a threat.
I could go on and on. He's managed to get us to midtable safety. Expect much the same next season, maybe slightly better.

5 for me- never seriously threatened either end of the table for a sustained period of time. His approach has been very one dimensional for the vast majority of the time and I have struggled with his idea of blooding other team’s u -23 at the expense of our own (Clarke / Matondo) although Matondo’s last 3 outings provide an interesting conundrum. I sincerely hope he shows more positive intent next season.

Not finished high enough for a 7 but nowhere near bad enough to be giving less than sixes when you take everything into consideration.

Solid 6. Never in any danger of relegation and a brief flirtation with the top 6 earlier in the season. Struggled with injuries and hamstrung by FFP. Bottom half finish feels like a poor season, however.

6.5 Drug us out of the abyss in 2020. Last 1/2 of the season sucked but we ended up a little below the 10th-12th place I'd hoped
I kept hearing that, on paper that "we have a great squad, especially for the Championship." Well whoever wrote that "paper" is full of shit. (And so was I because I bought it) Positive from this year - Did enjoy seeing our youth proving that the Academy isn't just for babysitting.
Still another year of getting rid of outdated inventory. Top 10 next year and I won't spit the dummy.

7 from me. Very good start to the season. Hindered by massive injuries in the second half which stifled creativity and forward play. 21 clean sheets a massive plus, need to stop the silly mistakes and the ability to ship 2/3 in quick succession and a solid base to build on for next season.

It’s a 6 from me. Credit for steadying the ship, clean sheets and blooding some youngsters but for me he hasn’t made the full transition from International Manager of a moderate team to the managership of a aspirational league team. He has had plenty of problems which could explain the disjointed and random performances we have seen in too many games or periods within games. To match up and win week in / week out we need to develop a consistent a pattern of play and I haven’t really seen that or felt Mon has that clear vision of building a league winning team. No excuses next season.
