We’ve got to be close to “ah fuck it” and having him on the bench? Bench Saturday. Hes the missing piece of the jigsaw.

We’ve got to be close to “ah fuck it” and having him on the bench? Maybe if Fletcher is still out? Personally think it’s more likely to be West Brom, possibly Preston. He’s one of the best in the league, so we can’t play it safe with him for ages. Hopefully he’s almost there and these 23s minutes are just to get him back into the feel of things. He’s a natural footballer.

Contrast him with Ince when he plays as a wide man in a three, he has one touch and then pings a pass, often first time, he would speed up our play so much..

Any particular reason we wouldn’t/didn’t give him minutes against Watford rather than with the U23’s tonight, would it not bring him up to speed faster?

Any particular reason we wouldn’t/didn’t give him minutes against Watford rather than with the U23’s tonight, would it not bring him up to speed faster? After very long layoffs (over 9 months in Ty's case) managers usually give their players some game time in U23 games before putting them into first team football. Even though Watford will probably play some second string players, their side is likely to be of a higher standard than U23. So I think it is entirely logical that TY's second appearance since injury was in an under 23 game. Ty's successful rehab is surely more important than giving him game time tomorrow.

Bench spot for WBA should be the goal. Don't rush him - we want him fit for 25 games once he gets back in the team.

We need him back as soon as he is ready. I’m sure between the medical staff and Tyrese himself we will get it right for him.
Can’t wait to see what he can do in this side, absolute baller.

Wouldn't risk a single first teamer v Watford on top of Campbell anyway. Hope Powell doesn't play .

We’ve got to be close to “ah fuck it” and having him on the bench? Bench Saturday. Hes the missing piece of the jigsaw. Would say him and Powell are the missing pieces of the jigsaw based on the last few league games. If we had a more clinical finisher against Barnsley and Derby, we would be at least 3 points better off, the amount of chances we haven't converted this season is frustrating. Brown and Surridge put themselves about, press from the front pressuring the opposition to lose possession high up, drag the opposition centre halves about and link well with those around them, but neither are what you could describe as 'clinical'. Also, as much as Vrancic has been the difference in the home games with a moment of quality that has been decisive, we lack a direct option and a late runner - Clucas is another option when he plays, but, in this system, he sits deeper. Think if we can keep both Tyrese and Powell fit and firing (possibly Sima too once he adapts to English football) then we won't be far away this season.

Makes a lot of sense to ease him back. From what I’ve seen of his games in the U23s, he’s looked pretty pooped after 50 mins or so. Ideally he gets another in the next match and continues to build confidence. I can’t wait to see him running onto through balls from Sawyers and Vrancic though. He was good when all he had was Powell and Fletcher to feed him. Very excited to see what he’ll be able to do soon.

Have a feeling he will be on the bench v West Brom. Me too, MON specifically going to watch him tonight isn’t he really. If he looks sharp enough I think he’ll make the bench against WBA

I think he might need another U 23 outing first and we have the international break so my expectation is after that.

If he looks sharp enough I think he’ll make the bench against WBA I think he’d have to look head and shoulders above the rest and come off not looking as flat-out exhausted as he has previously for that to happen. On a side note, how often does MON go to see the U23s? It’s not just a great opportunity for Campbell (and TOB), but for all of them to impress him to be honest.

He's had a few run outs, let's get him on the bench on Friday, we're desperate for a proper striker
