This is the same MLS that this board went into meltdown over when we couldn’t sign Agudelo. The Championship is a higher standard than the MLS- but any Stoke Fan who thinks our lot would win the MLS title is living in cloud cuckoo land; we have a midfield no better than average, forwards than can’t score - and a defence that is capable of some great tics!

Why do so many footballers go there to die? (Metaphorically) they don't. a few big names go there late in careers as they do many leagues. You'd think The championship was the CL the way some talk. This a poor game to be fair. Our game yesterday such quality of course I wasn’t comparing the two leagues, but let’s be honest, young up and coming players don’t go to the mls.

Playing in a warmer climate will help his body which was creaking. I still think we got it wrong letting him go though.

They would - as you say, but they pissed all over us didn’t they- not one point from 6 games; we clearly are MLS standard- perhaps play offs ( obviously a fit Campbell and Doughty ( though I’m going off what some on this board say , as I’ve never seen him play)) would probably make us a lot better in that standard. The midfield would still struggle to pass accurately no matter what standard it played it- it’s truly shit.

If you can’t keep a clean sheet with 9 defenders, then you are struggling- which we are.

Yep absolutely true, midfield has been sub par this season (and others), you’d think professional footballers would be able to find space, complete passes and when needed track runners and tackle. Seems to evade some of ours!

No- sorry I misread the original post and didn’t notice Brentford- 3 points out of 24 isn’t very good is it, even worse when you add in 1 point out of 6 against Barnsley and at best 3 points out of Bournemouth- likely zero; if that happens 4 points out of 36 against top 6 teams shows how uncompetitive this team has been- blame it on what ever, injuries, crap players, poor management, but the season has been at best, standstill. Going back to the original thread, we would not threaten to win the MSL- the 4 teams mentioned by “a” would.

Meanwhile back in Blighty he was the joint highest earner at our club, more than twice the amount that Batth and Chester are on..... And? Contract about to expire, offer him a new one and keep him over those two.

I know they are trying to create an atmosphere but the fans bashing instruments and couple of singers is cringe worthy. I know what the drummer can not get.

It’s Miami, it’s full of Latina people watching their side. It’s how it should be. Miami have been dogshit. They’re like a kids team. There’s 5 at the back and 5 up front and nothing in between. 😂

MLS is a bit weird
You can watch one game and see players who you'd think would be a big hit in the Championship at least Watch another and you'd see players who wouldn't get in National League North sides.

And it's not David Beckham's Inter Miami.
It's Ryan Shawcross's Inter Miami.

They obviously are enjoying themselves (the few) watching their team. I have been at a couple of Brazil games one being at the olympics 2012 at OT and their supporters certainly enjoyed themselves banging any instrument and i became grateful when they fell a couple of goals behind as they went quiet. Neymar was poor that game but loved the OT turf

mlsplayers.org/resources/salary-guide#MLS salaries released today. Shawcross on a surprisingly modest 300,000 dollars this season - so he clearly hasn't gone for the cash! Tom Edwards getting 410,000 dollars (but don't know how that is split between clubs) Would have thought he'll be on far more than that at Stoke, so presumably that's their contribution?

Very true, it is a completely different world - but would have thought he'd have been on ten times that for most of the last decade.
