You said, "it was the slowest boring guff I've seen in F1" and so by definition, you really did say that it was worse than every F1 race you have ever seen. I can say with some authority, that by F1 standards (not just last year), the race would not make my bottom 200 of painfully dull races I've watched since 1974. Jesus wept it was an opinion so what! Have I hurt your feeling or something get over it. No feelings hurt at all. I just have a thing for people spouting bollocks and then denying that they said something they previously said.

I've denied nothing you've clearly misunderstood what I've said but like I said if you want to get personal and insulting then carry on because I've nowt else better to do.

Harsh on Perez but funny for Red Bull. And a good battle between Verstappen and Leclerc for a few laps there. That battle made the whole race for me--amazing fun. Similar to boxing I guess. Some sub-par rounds yes, but that one round made for a great spectacle overall.

I work in Monaco from time to time and they leave all the grid markings on the home straight and various stuff around the track. Handy when trying to get back to the hotel after a few too many sherberts😉

Also drink at the Rascasse after work. Happy hour 5-8 at £5 a pint and that’s a godsend in Monaco!

Well I was upset for Max.......ha ha ha NOT.
Ferrari looks on the ball and Leclerc has always had the ability to win and now has the car and a good team mate.
Lewis must be in heaven. why Mercedes don't just give me the car for a day I don't know. I'll sort the handling out in no time. However the last few laps did show the car has some potential if it gets sorted. Looks to be a 3 way problem to me with the release of the downforce from under the car not balancing with the braking effects which usually make a car nose dive a little into a corner and the mechanical downforce from the wings...Now if you sat Katie Price with her new boobs on the back that should sort it imo.
As for Monaco. I've watched from the 1960's so have seen some great races. On my PC simulator it's an achievement to just get round the race distance without stuffing into a barrier, the place just sucks you in to going faster and faster ...then bang...Oh shit happens =) Like this

Didn't see the race but any time Verstappen loses and Horner can't gloat is fine by me. Pity Lewis didn't capitalize with a win, but good to see Ferrari doing well.

Was a fairly enjoyable race, the RBs blowing up at the end was an added bonus and made me smile!
Ferrari look a serious contender this year, two very good drivers but Merc will sort their car out soon enough - if they hang in picking points up they will roar back
Also, Natalie Pinkham is beautiful.

Weird that Hamilton went for the #2 driver luminous decals.
Edit: I gather it's for stylistic reasons - to match his helmet - still looks a bit shite.

Lets hope that F1 will grow a spine and not do the Saudi GP next year. Many of the drivers do not want to race this weekend, but they have been persuaded otherwise. Part of the "persuasion" was that it was inferred that should they not race, it would not be easy to leave the country. BBC

It's an interesting one. The Saudis have form for holding on to people that "don't behave" as they did it to WWE in 2019. I suspect that trying to pull the same stunt with F1 drivers would cause an enormous backlash, far greater than hanging on to a group of acting wrestlers. The only two drivers that have consistently raised concerns over human rights are Hamilton and Vettel, and seeing that Vettel is not there this weekend, I can't see Hamilton alone managing to organise a boycott of some description. I suspect it will be limited to a controversial helmet design or maybe a pro-rights T-shirt. It's certainly an opportunity for Verstappen to take the moral high ground and give him a much needed PR boost.

Well, it's the whole "lie down with dogs" thing isn't it. Will those involved learn from this? Obviously one can find levels of wrongdoings (historically and recent) with any of the venues, but something as current and ongoing as the local situation is a real head scratcher given that nothing substantial has been put forward, well maybe not a headscratcher. The money is way too good right? And besides, it seems no one cares enough until such money is disturbed. So, China...

I dunno if F1 has backed itself into a corner with Saudi Arabia. As well as paying the largest race fee, I think they sponsor all the races. F1 as it stands is also relying on Saudi Arabian money etc. to help it go carbon neutral, which is a rather laughable set of circumstances.
