So don't watch it mate. What's the problem?
Both channels show golf too. I'm not arsed about golf, so I don't watch the golf. It's a strategy that's served my 'not fussed about golf' policy magnificently over the years.

I don’t like Formula One. So when I see it on my SKY Sports menu I just don’t click on it and I would suggest the OP just do the same.....
EDIT He’s deleted his post making the thread somewhat confusing.

Not into the Woman's game, like Women commentating on games, not for me either. Some like it and some like Women pundits and Women commentating on games, no problem with that, just isn't for me and I'm not being sexist.

I’m not into women working, don’t particularly like to see them driving cars either. Some like it and I have no problem with that, just isn’t for me and I’m not being sexist.

If you don’t like women’s football because the standard is much lower then fair enough, can’t say I tune in often either. But what is it about female pundits/commentators you don’t like? Surely sex irrelevant when it comes to analysing games?

As a matter of interest, what has happened to the original post? I read it when it was first posted - now it has disappeared. I don't mind who likes watching and who doesn't like watching women's football. We live in a free country after all. What I don't understand is the macho(?) desire some male posters have to tell the world about them not liking it. I like sport but there must be 20 or 30 sports I don't enjoy watching - irrespective of sex. But so far I have resisted the temptation to start threads about my dislike for watching each one! Incidentally, as an ex rock climber myself, something I DO enjoy watching is Sport Climbing, which will make its debut in the Olympics this summer. I would advise taking a look and seeing if you enjoy it. One thing you will find is that women's sport climbing is just as spectacular as the male version! We do have some decent medal prospects of both sexes.

I mean, dismissing a pundit entirely based purely on their gender does seem a bit sexist...

If women want to play fair enough but it doesn’t interest me on the least What I do find annoying is that the Women's PL or whatever it is seems to be getting as much press coverage as the Championship

It's absolutely garbage and I've no interest. Same as I have zero interest in a car going round in circles and Egg chasing.
But I'm sure many people love it so that's their prerogative.
Interesting what the original topic was before editing !

Here's one to chew on (if I can say that).
Is the FA Womens Super League now bigger than the Championship?
Clearly not in terms of fans through the gate but in terms of the world's media and sponsorship opportunities which is what now counts since that is the revenue stream?
Certainly in most media I see it has billing above the Championship, the BBC call out the Women's Prem ahead of Championship and the match reports are larger in most broadsheets.
And you only need to look at the team names to see which way it is going, Man City, Man United, Tottenham, Chelsea, it just reads like the great and the good of the world game.
I'd say it's not quite there yet but as Bob Dylan said 'You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows' !

I’ve heard it suggested that as fans are increasingly priced out of following an elite men’s team they will turn more to women’s football as an affordable alternative. If saving money was my objective I’d much rather support a local non-league men’s side rather than the women’s team of a professional club, but maybe others don’t feel the same way. The allure of the big clubs’ brands is pretty strong. I can imagine many people finding the idea of Chelsea versus Man Utd in the Women’s Premier League more appealing than Hanley Town versus Charnock Richard in the North West Counties League.

Not interested in it, don't like it, don't rate it, don't care about it, however, I do like crumpet, and find some of the birds involved quite tasty, the mind often boggles regarding the scenes in and around the womens dressing rooms would love to be a fly on the wall, and if anyone else on here denies similar thoughts then they're telling porkies.🐖🐷

I tried watching a few Women footie games during the last World Cup, and it’s like watching the men’s game in slo-mo. Totally unwatchable for blokes used to the high intensity of the men’s game.
However, if it gains a considerable proportion of female viewers and spectators, and gets women into laying football, then I’m all for it.
Not really into female commentators or pundits, but I’m from a different generation and over time it’ll become more acceptable and their views respected.

I started the thread but my pry post has disappeared. I was saying I can’t watch it as much as I love football, nothing to do with it being women I find it just a completely different game. I would prefer to watch junior football than women’s. I think Sky and BBC should spend more time and money promoting the game to ethnic minorities and the less privileged that is how our game will thrive. They are trying to build it up to be on a level with the men’s game, RUBBISH, would you pay 40 or 50 pounds to watch a women’s game ?

I think football already is accessible to BAME groups in the UK - you could argue that sports like football are among the few true examples of meritocracy in our society when it comes to race. Just look at the England squad and the likes of Belllingham, Rashford, Sterling, Calvert-Lewin, Walker, Lingard, Saka, Phillips etc, all of whom are from BAME backgrounds. I think investment into the women's game is warranted as it gives it a chance to grow. I don't doubt that the standard will never be close to the men's game, but marketing the WSL and investing into it at grassroots level gives the women's game the chance to meet its potential.
