I think today will be a good barometer of where we are at as a team, they will battle for everything and we have to be prepared to use some patience and guile, think it's going to be a long afternoon!!

The matchday thread on Wycombe's forum is so far only concerned about the relative merits of Stoke's club crest(s) LinkyLinky

There seems to be an air of complacency about this one. Anyone who’s followed Stoke for a while knows it’s a banana skin of a game. It could be as grim as a grim day in Grimsdale on here at 5pm.

Absolutely sod all to base it on but I’ve got a feeling that Brown will have a good game today.

You’d hope we can just put in a good performance and see them away easily enough by 2 or 3 goals but we don’t do that often. Hope Wednesday hasn’t knocked the stuffing out of them too much either, because it certainly did me. So near but yet so far, and now we don’t really have anything to play for. Whether that makes for a better performance or not, who knows? We’ll still need plenty of fight in us today to win.
I’ll go 3-1 Stoke
Gunn
Smith Souttar Chester RND
Thompson Allen
Brown Powell Clarke
Fletcher

Normally I'd expect 4-0 but as we don't have a striker worthy of the name....1-0

Anything less than a win is unacceptable.

Looking at form table Wycombe concede for fun but they are better than us over last 12 games (by 1 point). Its going to be tighter than most think but if we don't win this one questions need to be asked. 2-1 Stoke.
Gooaaaannnnn Stoke.

Pretty sure I can remember them hammering us at the Brit when Brian Little was manager. 4-1 in that spell when we lost to all sorts including Wrexham at home. Was it Wycombe?
