Let’s give a couple of the U23 squad a chance. Clark and Matondo should play no further part if we are building for next season as they won’t be here. I would also leave Gunn out of the squad. It can’t be worse than playing Vokes or Brown. But according to some itk posters Gunn has to be played even if he has a poor run of form. What kind of loan contract is that if it’s true. Arguably our 3rd choice keeper on present form. The same deal Wigan had with us for Haugaard.

Bursik. Souttar. Fletcher. The rest, does it matter? Powell probably does.

Gunn Smith Souttar Batth Nozza Cousins Thompson Allen Brown Vokes Powell Vokes? Seriously Before you ask, basically anyone (pottermus, a wardrobe, an 83 year old all the crap jokes) he’s awful and I’m sick of seeing him being thrown on and doing absolutely nothing. Play Norton.

The same deal Wigan had with us for Haugaard. re Gunn, what has he done wrong? played fine hasn't he? He's not great coming for crosses and his positioning at times has been a little off, but I agree he's been fine. I'd still be playing Davies though, better for him to develop imo.

He will go 352 again I’m sure. It’s the same system Swansea play and it might help to nullify Ayew and Lowe. That’s said, I’m fully expecting us to lose again regardless.
Gunn
Batth Souttar Chester
Smith Cousins Thompson Powell RND
Brown Fletcher

The same deal Wigan had with us for Haugaard. re Gunn, what has he done wrong? played fine hasn't he? I’m not questioning his current form or ability .....just seems strange that a loaned player can allegedly have a contract that insists he is first choice regardless of form especially as his loan is apparently 18 months. Supposing he has a run of poor form which could happen. Does he still have to be first choice. Seems very bizarre.

I know he's shite but it's play him there with Powell off the left or play Powell central and possibly Tymon off the left who is equally useless.😎

I don't get the hatred of Gunn from some posters. How many mistakes has he made which have led to goals? I can understand wanting to see Bursik or Davies ahead of him because he isn't our player but he's hardly done much wrong. He’s not made mistakes that have cost us but he just doesn’t seem to have the confidence that Davies and Bursik have Quite often flaps at crosses and doesn’t dominate If he’s still the keeper he was before the injury then Davies is No1 for me with Jo as back up. If we can’t send Gunn back then he’d be no2 and Jo out for a season long loan

Edit, if you mean Hagaard, the then Wigan manager said it in an interview at the time.

If he plays Gunnm, which he most likely will, expect at least one otherwise savable goal. All Swansea have to do is cross it to the far post.

Can we end any of the loans for Gunn, Clark or Matondo.
MON has spoken about older players blocking the path of U23 players.
What about loanees who aren’t any better than what we already had blocking their path.

How many goals has he conceded with crosses to the far post? The goalkeeper is the very least of our problems imo. Davies and Bursik have shown their vulnerabilities too.

Never quite get these threads. Anyway, shuffle the ( injury limited) pack as much as he likes, he’s as bad burnt or scalded with our current shower.

In reality he doesn't have too many options. If the U23's are going to be rushed into the starting 11, it's just a question of juggling what we have..

Any fooker who can do the basics well I'm losing interest at the moment Same here. Don’t think I’ve ever been so bored or less interested going into a home game in 50 years. We’re so predictable now. I switched off last game once we were 2-1 down. A friend of mine. Massive Stoke fan as well turned off at 1-1 !!!! Said it was just to obvious and just so Stoke what would happen. !
