MON is very well regarded in Scotland.

Probably best all round if MON goes to Celtic. We'll get compensation, and when we appoint Phil Parkinson as his replacement he can crack on with another rebuilding job......

Probably best all round if MON goes to Celtic. We'll get compensation, and when we appoint Phil Parkinson as his replacement he can crack on with another rebuilding job...... Why another prehistoric British manager, go foreign FFS Not so straightforward under new laws The FA's new regulations are based on five 'bands' that determine whether a manager qualifies for a Governing Body Endorsement (GBE), which is now required for them to work in England. The manager must have been working within these bands — described in the 12-page document as 'Top Leagues' — for two consecutive years, or for three of the previous five to receive the GBE. 24 months consecutively or 36 months over the past five years working in any competition from band 1 to band 5. You also need a Uefa Pro licence and proof your English is good enough to, among other things, “describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans”. Watford’s new Spanish head coach, Xisco Muñoz, whose previous job was with Dinamo Tbilisi, would certainly not qualify. Finally there are the staff and the days of an overseas manager turning up with all of his mates may be numbered. Any individual looking for a visa as a “Performance Manager” (which covers most coaching and sports science-related roles) requires a degree and five years’ experience in bands 1 to 5 or at international level.

I think it could be a disaster if MON left. We are in a fragile situation right now, we need some stability and a steady head. Be careful what you wish for!
I think he will definitely be on their short list given the new issues with appointing a foreign manager and staff.

Think they will want a bigger name tbh just getting overtook by rangers, can't see o'neil satisfying the fans or the board, if he were to go though really not much out there for us john terry or lampard would be my choice got a feeling lampard might end up at celtic though

You mean on the pitch? Can't see anything other than that myself No. If I was him I'd be off. Next season will bring nothing but frustration for everyone whether he is here or not. A new manager could be the perfect foil for another plot from the indispesable pizza delivery guy.

A new manager could be the perfect foil for another plot from the indispesable pizza delivery guy. The very last thing SCFC needs is another new manager coming in to dismiss the playing squad we have and the prospering academy, in order to bring in 10-15 new players of his own, thus giving us another bomb squad of players, paid by the club but not playing. For better or worse we stand with O'Neill and he stands with us.

I just accept the simple fact that the board doesn't want any more sackings and won't act, unless there's something disturbingly wrong. At the moment there are 13 points ahead before they would even start considering. Or if the players appeared to be deeply unhappy with the manager, which is very much not the case.

I don't have any inside info, but I get the impression the squad respect and enjoy playing for the manager..

If your implying they’re not happy playing underneath MON, then that’s complete bullshit.
