Now we’re apparently on the road to somewhere towards the end of restrictions
What are people’s plans for a break this summer
Myself I plan to just have a few day trips to the north norfolk coast And use the money saved to have a bloody good season watching football
What’s Anyone else planing ?

I was 50 last year and we'd planned for a couple of years to take kids to Florida and few days in NYC on way home so that went pear-shaped so have rescheduled that for this August. So watching and waiting. Also planning couple of short trips to Italy and Germany for gigs in June July but who knows , would love to go if safe

I have a week booked traveling up the Lincolnshire coast in May, 5 days in the lakes early June, 5 days in North Wales late June and 5 days in Dorset in July.
Plan to do the fabled NC500 for a week in late September and get several weekenders in but not booked these yet.

Got two weeks in Greece in June that we deferred from last year. Both me and the other half are due our jabs in April so really hope we get to go. Desperate for the break as we've both had a rough few months recently. Greece were one of the first countries to say they'd allow tourists in so fingers crossed.

Meant to be going Prague, Budapest, bratislava and Vienna this July moved from last year but I'm a bit sceptical about our chances still. More confident about the west coast of America and Vegas in October.

See you there 👍 I've booked a week on the North Norfolk coast early June If hotels open on 17th May as planned, I'll be going somewhere in the UK that week I'll also hopefully go abroad in the autumn if there's a possibility If Stoke get a pre season trip abroad as well, I'll be going there as well hopefully I bought extra holidays off work this year so want to use them up not sitting in my garden

Sidmouth Lawrie discovered it by chance 21 years ago and I've been back every year since. I usually go out of season, November/ December to get some serious walking in and more recently a run with the local club. Don't think you can go wrong with Devon, glorious countryside and a magnificent coastline.

I did the fast cat boat from Vienna to Bratislava down the Danube nearly 4 years ago now, a great trip and cities Did the train from Budapest to Prague via Brno as well about 15 years ago, a multi centred cultural stag do

Argentina as soon as all clear to do so One of the few places in the world I’ve really fancied going is South America A mate of mine went to chile for a month years ago and some of the photos and stories have always stuck with me Chile is a great country. A friend of mine worked on the railways there for a year or so and visited a couple of times, pretty sure we have a Chilean resident on here and there was a chap with a rather lovely Chilean wife who I met once.
