Fantastic, I loved reading every single one of them, even Tony Scholes! Very emotional day and I just feel so priveleged to have grown up myself with Stoke City with Ryan as the leader of our team. The last of the legends to leave the club. Good luck Ryan.

Anybody else getting a little teary watching the ex players leave messages for him? Wilko, Rory, Whelan, Asmir, Jack Butland. Ric, Mama, Huth, Tommy, Johnny Walters, Ethers, Dicko to follow I'm sure, possibly even Peter Crouch. Wouldn't be surprised to see Bojan and Muniesa make an appearance as well.

As one or two have mentioned, it’s the growing up you’ve done yourself alongside his Stoke career. Not much else to be said that hasn’t already be said, so just a funny memory. Who remembers his debut and for the majority of the second half Stoke singing Hey Jude nice and slow, only replacing the words with Welsh c**ts? One of my favourites. Awesome day and debut from Ryan that day, was a pleasure to be there. & yes that song went on & on & on didn't it

All the best Ryan. A true loyal footballer. You will sadly be missing but never forgotten. A legend. Hopefully we can all say goodbye to you in person some day.

What's the best timing for the testimonial?
obviously not till fans can go without restrictions which could be quite some time
pre-season friendly?
during an international break?
who should we play?
Man United, they would ask for £1m+ to play probably
thoughts?

The greatest Stoke player in my time following the club (since the late '80s) - a key player throughout a special time in our recent history.
It's a shame his career here fizzled out over the last couple of seasons due to injuries but I hope it goes well for him in Miami, and that he makes it back to our ground at some point to get the ovation he deserves

Good luck Ryan a great move for you and thanks for all your time at Stoke and being part of one of the better and most successful periods in our history. I don't care much for the term "Legend", very few are worthy of it, but you are up there. Enjoy your new life, club and enjoy the sunshine!

So much said about this wonderful man, but for me it was the little things. One that stood out was last year against Sheff Wed, Tyrese had just equalised, in the last minute and was quite happy to celebrate a point, as the other players piled in to celebrate the Skipper broke them up and urged them to go again, he drove us forward even in our darkest hour, what a leader

Hope everything goes well for you.
Thank you seems so inadequate for what you have done, but that's all I can say.
Don't forget us, we all love you, and will always remember you.

What a player. What an inspiration. What a man.
Thanks for the many, many memories, Ryan, and all the best in the sunnier climes of Miami.

The fact that he was handed the armband ahead of a lot of those players speaks volumes. Absolute legend, end of.

My favourite player in a truly memorable era for the club. So sad to see him go - I always dreamed of him becoming a player coach and then manager of our club. Perhaps in the future. All the best Ryan, whatever happens in the future I'll be watching and will always have a soft spot for you. Thank you for the memories. It's the end of an era.

All the very best Ryan for your future, both in and out of the game, to you and your fantastic family!
Legend is a word that is often used but rarely is fitting. Today a true Legend, in every sense of the word, leaves Stoke City with every single supporter’s best wishes and admiration. Thanks for the memories and your contribution to a very special time to be a Stoke City Supporter.
I will look forward to the Testimonial!
