I had the Pfizer vaccine this afternoon - the jab was fine as I'd been dreading the needle. So far no aches and pains but I feel really shivery in the last hour or so. 2nd jab due on 9th May. May, that'll be fine Deeside!👍 Swedish experts were out early and alone by saying "you can't wait more than 3 weeks between them", but last week their new advice was "you should wait 12 weeks between them for the best possible result". What a turnaround!! 😁 Yes that's-certainly a big change of advice from the Swedish gurus Musik. I've been fine apart from a slight ache in my arm where the jab was given, and a couple of hours feeling cold last night. Good sleep last night and I've felt "normal" (whatever that is) today.

I think the interesting thing that is coming out of all these vaccines is the new way they have been developed hopefully the same technology can be used to eradicate other diseases too

We will have to try and get ahead of it with treatments but its sadly now something we will have to live with

Had mine today oxford one well organised centre here were doing both vaccines
Got there way to early let in early was in and out within 15 min
Great staff and very cheerful and reassuring
didn't have to wait 15 min after as I had the oxford one
So far only a little discomfort in arm like a minor bruise
Can definitely recommend that you have it done

Had mine today at Epsom also had the oxford one.
Was in and out in about 30 mins.
The staff and the doctor gave me the jab were great and super polite which I was more than happy to tell them.
Only had it at 1830 so will wait and see if I get any side effects.
It felt quite emotional when I came out as it seemed like I’d been waiting for this moment for a long time even though I’m only 51. For all the negatives I’ve seen over the last year today was a massive positive seeing all the volunteers and NHS pulling together.
Getting home it was more a sense of relief than celebration as there’s still a long way to go and many friends still waiting to have there’s.
One day hopefully I can give something back to thank these wonderful people.

There’s just no substance to them. It’s very real and though not people I’m really close to I know 2 good men that have lost their lives to it. I find it very frustrating when I see the likes of Piers Corbyn talking nonsense about Covid being a conspiracy. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone but from knowing people who’ve had it ant told me how awful it is then perhaps they need to see the reality of it first hand and maybe then they might just see that it’s very real.

For max 7 years, they've said. My vaccination btw in June and September probably 7 years until they eradicate it .? Yes, totally. Our authority experts at FHM up here have said so and they're not the only one. I don't know how they've come up with that number. They've been wrong before along the way. I would call it a qualified guess.

Had mine last week, AZ, not due it but I live about 200 yards away from where they're doing it and it's on my way to the shops, so I popped in on my way and offered to have one if they had any left over at any time, been back in the house less than half an hour when I got the call. Less than ten minutes later I was back in the house having had it, my cup of tea was still hot No aches or pains whatsoever, think I might have been given a placebo

I had the AZ one yesterday morning. Currently wide awake with the chills, aches and a headache. I feel so sorry for anyone who actually had COVID. I know it's for the greater good but man alive I feel rough. Oh and I've got work at 4am 😒

Most of it's over my head but sounds fantastic.

Some really weird pains, like sprains in my thumb and wrist when I moved them. But I lucked out and avoided the worst I think.

Both had the AZ jab, he was fine apart from the heavy/bruised arm, whereas his wife had really bad aches/pains and chills and felt rough for about three days. I had the Pfizer one and was fine, and my missus had the AZ one and had no side effects at all. The NHS really are doing a wonderful job, it's very well organised and efficient, and they're so polite and friendly - people would have to be stupid not to have the jab when it's offered. Hope you feel better soon.

I had Astra Zenicca last Saturday and though it’s not that painful I have been having minor muscle spasm behind my ear for the last few days not sure if it’s related. Anyone else had similar. I’m happy to have had it though as mentally it’s been a real pick me up.

My wife had AZ on Tues. We were concerned as she has a pretty severe allergy to morphine based products (facial swelling, breathlessness - looks like a space hopper without the orange colour ). The nurse checked a sheet off confirming her allergy so they obviously know about such things. Asked if she'd had a reaction to the 'flu jab - no, will be OK then. Similar reaction to some on here, she had 24 hours of chills, aches and headache. Only offer this up to anyone else concerned about allergies to medicines, they seem to have it in hand before you get the vaccine.

I’m happy to not have one and don’t want it. I’m healthy and I’d rather take my chances considering the chances of death from catching Covid are minuscule. My concern is all the bullshit restrictions that are going to be in place. This vaccine will end up being mandatory in all but name

Appears those apparently worst affected the Bame community are reluctant to take up the offer of free vaccines, it may be that this becomes mandatory what is going to happen with the illegals living here and these jabs
