Had the Pfiezer at JCB factory at Cheadle. Well organised, no problems afterwards.

Had a Pfizer one, usual achy arm, but after having many due to visiting "funny foreign places", it's the norm. Nothing worse than say the rabies jab (which was a bit nasty). Military precision where I got done, two army personnel were in charge. Did either of them yell "DIRECT HIT!!!" afterwards?

Oddly no, but it was so brisk my seat barely touched the sanitised seat they'd laid out for me. Very very efficient.

You lot are not selling this to me at all. Aching arms, sickness for couple of days, headaches, etc. I fucking hate needles as it is and this isnt making me feel confident at all for when its my turn in the queue ☹

I had mine at 11:20 yesterday, no issues at all.
Woke up a few times in the night as if I’d had a few beers the night before that’s all and same now. Arms fine.
Had a Watts Apppp message from girls at work just and they've had hot and cold and aches all night.
I was told that when you have the jab to completely relax your arm beforehand

Somewhere between May to September for me, they don't know.
But hopefully the Finnish nose spray vaccine will be on the market in the autumn.

When the needle goes in, it hurts LIKE HELL, Dees, and you'll go like this > then this > Everyone does. It's like being speared with a jousting lance by Henry VIII. Only worse. Still, we'll all be thinking of you on Sunday at 1.30pm. xxx

Yes mate done exactly that and chucked in a bag of haribos and a bag of chilli Doritos and boom all good, surprised how it made me feel as earlier felt chilled to the bone. Feel so proud of the NHS and all they are doing they truly are magnificent.

Oh, and if you think you're going to faint with all the searing pain, just go with the flow - the others will just keep stepping over you till you rally of your own accord. Probably about 20 past 4. When all the UK vaccination programme is over, it will be essential for the whole country to have one of those mass-applause events and make it bigger than ever so that all those involved can see and hear how much their incredible efforts have been appreciated.

... starts in Oz at the end of the month. Only being given to healthcare staff initially through the The Royal Brisbane and the four major regional hospitals. Not sure what’s happening in the other states and territories, but I imagine it will be similar

I had mine yesterday and everytime I close my eyes I see and hear the windows 95 loading screen. Totally off-topic - I have the Windows 95 loading screen as my desktop pic at work... It's a cracker! Totally related - I had AZ a couple of weeks ago accompanied by the seemingly very usual shivers and feeling ropey for a day or two. Wife gets hers today.

Does seem to be the AZ one that has the worst effects. Getting back to normal now but still a bit achey all over.

I had the Pfizer vaccine this afternoon - the jab was fine as I'd been dreading the needle. So far no aches and pains but I feel really shivery in the last hour or so. 2nd jab due on 9th May.

With all this stiffness talk I wondered if you had to have it in the arm other areas might have an added bonus.

May, that'll be fine Deeside!👍 Swedish experts were out early and alone by saying "you can't wait more than 3 weeks between them", but last week their new advice was "you should wait 12 weeks between them for the best possible result". What a turnaround!! 😁
