If true then Bursik and DWP may well have played their last game for Stoke, Because once a player falls foul of O'Neill, it's the point of no return. That seems to be the lesson learned from Edwards and Verlinden, possibly other young players who were in contention last season but are nowhere near even the bench this season. Verlinden shouldn’t even make it into this discussion. He’s played what, about 11 times since he left Stoke a year or so ago. He should be a key part of this discussion, because he was the first to fall foul of O'Neill's heavyhanded disciplinary behind the scenes actions, after impressing with previous managers Hughes and Jones. What he has done or not done since leavingf the club is irrelevant.

He’s really very good isn’t he?
Just the way he controls it, turns and runs forward. So positive.
And such a good footballer. Control is immaculate and he holds it up so well.

Should be playing every week between now and the end of the season.

He’s brave and that’s what I like best. Brave in his play, brave to attract physical contact and brave to dish out some physicality of his own. Like the look of the lad.

I want to see more of DWP+Maja. We need to decide if we're keeping Maja and also whether DWP will cut it.

Agree with all of that Bayern, there was a moment second half when he trapped the ball and span in one movement, and I said to my little lad what a turn and he said it was like there was superglue on his foot then dad. Had to agree, we have a player there for sure because I don't think you can teach that it is a natural ability.

DWP has a very bright future ahead of him and should be one of the first names on the team sheet. I thought Maja had his best game for us yesterday and worked really hard. Keep the same team till the end of the season and see how he does and make a decision. He needs to score goals as we need a striker who can get us 20+ to give us any chance of making the playoffs next season.

It was MON who brought him into the fold, under previous managers he'd possibly still be playing for the under 23's.......

I know he did, I was merely asking what the other clown would be thinking when his beloved manager drops him again after seeing he’s had a great game!!!!!

I was also thinking about that incident when he controlled the ball and turned under pressure all in one movement.
Just keep playing him, he will add more ruthlessness and end product in and become a top player.
He also works for the team, tracks back and defends well

Should be automatic choice now for the remaining 8 games.
If the manager leaves him out for any reason other than injury or illness then he is a fool.

Should start every remaining game.
A feature of our play yesterday is that we had 3 forwards who looked mobile rather than one.
That front three should start every remaking game too.
I’m not saying they were brilliant but it was an improvement on recent weeks

The only thing I think he needs to work on is a bit of upper body strength but not too much so it affects how he plays/runs. He's just the sort of player I like watching.
