Hooray - no Brown, Thompson or Matondo. We might stand a chance of winning. And of losing. So a draw is on the cards.

Well that’s pretty much the line up that many on here have been crying out for, let’s hope it works well. Be interesting to see Powell up top!

At least with the addition of clucas there’s a bit more forward thinking in that midfield

I like the look of that side though what does Mikel have to do to get dropped. Have a bad game? Give up. He has a bad game every week. Piss poor

Hooray - no Brown, Thompson or Matondo. We might stand a chance of winning. Unfair on Thompson that March, doubted him at first but starting to like him. Although, an in-form Clucas gets the nod from me as well. Agree with the other two though. Think maybe Matondo was thrown in a bit too early myself. May have more impact from the bench. Same with brown although I think he’s just lacking confidence, confident he’ll come good if played on the wing. Dreadful upfront though.

Gunn on the bench is concerning Why? He's a very good keeper.

Looks decent. I think Mikel, Allen and Clucas when at the top of their game are our 3 best midfield players. Not sure about Powell leading the line but he has performed this season wherever he has been asked to play so lets hope he has a good game. It's what many on here have been hoping. But I think we might have to wait till the game starts to see his actual role. We don't really need a conventional striker. The one we have tends to do rather less well. I wouldn't say Powell has played great every game this season, but he seems to find his best from when the pitches get muddy - just like he did last season, after not doing much while the grass was green (and Jones wouldn't pick him).

It's actually a worse side if it's not Cousins. Although he played him and Mikel in the wrong positions midweek in my opinion. Mikel looks a liability at times playing there, I do see what he brings and the reasons why MON starts him, but I feel much more relaxed Cousins doing that role. Out of Jones’ signings, he is the one who I’ve been most surprised by. Really like him.

Who’ll be taking set pieces tonight? Clucas? Hopefully MON will use our substitutes wisely and sub Allen/ Clucas/ Possibly Mikel when they tire

No Ben Foster for them so Bachmann (remember him) starts Some Watford fans prefer him to Foster I think. Had a good season in Scotland, without looking I think I remember it being Kilmarnock. I know they got into Europe anyway.

Interesting comment from McKinlay Angela Smith: "Some people would be surprised that Bursik keeps his place but you can't change your keeper based on a couple of mistakes, can you?"
McKinlay "I'm surprised that anyone would be surprised. Joe's been fantastic, we've got 100% faith in him and he deservedly keeps his place" Are they being told to frame questions like this or what? What's the point in asking a question if you're going to answer it for them?

Allen is playing not Cousins That's a mistake by MON

So a draw is on the cards. If Allen is playing rather than Cousins then the chance of winning is reduced and the chance of losing increased.

Not sure about that midfield 3 as a cohesive unit. Looks like it could be a game with goals, there’s not much defensive nous in there.
