Gets more woeful with every passing game. We will unfortunately do nothing with him in the team.

While we are without a striker that gets goals, we are pressing the opposition to prevent them starting attacks. It has won us a lot of points this season.
Nobody presses more or better than Brown.
When we have a decent striker again, Brown can step down to the bench, but until then he is one of the automatic choices on the team sheet.

He sure put himself about today. Worked hard, did some good things with the ball but also has the odd mare. A lot better. Agreed. He did ok today. Worked hard. Held the ball up ok. Playing as a lone striker is a thankless task. Unless you score.

Like you logging on when we don’t win? If you'd only logged on when we win we'd have had the pleasure of not seeing you for weeks His touch is almost as bad as his decision making

He’s not the best and I’m not sure he’ll score again this season, but you can’t fault his attitude. I’d take him everyday over Ince that can’t be arsed

In fact, he's probably our fifth choice striker. Isn't he a winger by trade? It seems a little harsh to be slating a 22 year old winger for not scoring goals when he's filling in as a lone striker.

I’ve said it before some fans would happy clap anyone if they “work aaaarrdd’”. Doesn’t matter if they’re an utterly inept footballer who has a dreadful touch, is poor in the air, can’t finish or cross.

Runs about like a dog off its leash.
At least he runs though, which is more than certain others do.

Brown is one of the worst footballers I’ve ever seen playing for Stoke. He is totally ineffective.
When he is in the team it’s like playing with ten men.

Unfortunately he falls into the McClean bracket of working really hard but awful on the ball. It’s hard to know if he has a position. I expect he was sign to simply plug gaps. Didn’t see the game today but a lot of folk said he was playing well whilst many were saying he was terrible, so again like McClean. Don’t know what to think, don’t want to write him off but he needs to be much better in possession.

File him under "Players who are at their best without the ball".
Not quite what we're after, is it??

Effort - 100% Like JM Controlling the ball - a heavy touch Hold up play - gets bullied distribution - dodgy passing loses possession easily sometimes Link up play - not quite on the same wavelength with Powell Heading - dont think Ive seen him head a ball Shooting - weak Decision making - see link up play. Half term report - 5/10

He is really doing the very best he can do.
The idle barracking of him is becoming tiring and is really disappointing imo
He's working to his max. and should at least be respected for this. He is not picking the team.
He is a best option up front as things stand until we buy better, that is the reality
Get off his back and give him at least some credit for giving 100% every single minute of each game

He just nowhere near good enough at the moment and you do wonder if he will ever improve. Powell could lead the line much more effectively and Brown was that bad today that Vokes would have been a better option the last 20 minutes ...and that's telling. Working hard is the minimum I expect of our players.

What every Stoke fan should worry about is that there's threads like this after every game he's played.
He's shite and out of his depth.
2 million is a lot of money in the FFP era to slunk on him.

He’s there because of injuries.
Which bit of that is so hard to understand?

Concerning bit, no sign of him improving imo, after a good few games. Truly works hard, still young trying to do a difficult lone striker role, but just doesn’t seem to hold the ball up or much real quality. Might do better with a more experienced strike partner.
