Take a bow lad, my MotM, that’s how you play lone striker. Never stopped running, good hold up play whilst constantly being fouled, making runs behind the line, never let the defenders settle all afternoon.......wardrobe watch and learn.

Give Mo Farah a shirt, he will run even more, but bet he wont trap it further than most people can kick it. I will never have a go at someone who tries as hard as Brown , but he is just not up to the standard. Shades of Martin Carruthers for me

Much better today. Held it up well on an awful pitch. For £2 million he is a decent acquisition

He's better than Vokes, by a mile but if we want progress he can't be starting. Imagine him in the premier league if we got promoted! Jeez

He sure put himself about today.
Worked hard, did some good things with the ball but also has the odd mare.
A lot better.

I like him because he works his heart out but he just doesn’t have enough quality on the ball. Never looks like scoring.

He ran around a lot and that was about it, a striker is meant to be a goal threat.

Worked hard but little or no quality and if he held the ball up I must have missed it. He held up a number of times, played it to Stoke players What game did you watch? He doesn't have any threat on goal in him, he's not the answer to that but he was busy, he held the ball up and linked up play.

Did well first half when we had bodies around him.
The last half hour or so when he was isolated showed how he’s not good enough to play as a lone striker. He just couldn’t make the ball stick.

I love sticking up for our unheralded players but he's pretty fucking useless when he's expected to be a goal threat. If you drew the lad a map to the goals, he wouldn't be able to find them.
