Not getting relegated twice in three years and ending the mammoth run of games where we didn't score more than twice (although it looks like we're in for a 'second wave' of that last one).

Obviously a false dawn but beating Leeds under Jones
Barnsley away in MoN's first game.
Huddersfield away last season.
And Vokes winner v Wednesday.
So mainly Yorkshire based.

MON first game at Barnsley. The atmosphere in that stand was electric. Will never forget MON running towards the tunnel at the end of the game, clench fist pumping to the Stoke fans. The general realisation we are back on the upwards.

Weve collected about 40 first team players .including those out on loan. Under MON we now have a young ability side that can take us up the table and hopefully back to the Premier league. Things are looking brighter.

Turning Tymon from being on the scrapyard, and some would say, a shrinking violet, into the supersub in the Forest game and a midfielder who would demand to be playmaker in a team that looked to be going somewhere with him in it. Once he was dropped, again, the team dropped out of the promotion places (for the time being).
He still hasn't won over a large section of Stoke suooirters who can't forgive him for being troubled at lb/lwb positions, but, the day may yet come when he's seen as one of the high points of a scfc promotion chasing team. He still needs to convince his manager that he isn't the solution to his defensive left problems, but recent signings may help him in that respect, although recent returns from injuries may block his chances in midfield.
