Didn’t look clear cut. Maybe we’ll appeal? Genuinely thought he hooked the ball and then the man went down from the force of that

Allen could have been given a red in the build up to their "offside goal"
Both caught out with a quick breakaway when all of our players are pushing forward
We need our quickest(a one who is experienced) player staying back in such situations
Pieters was very good at this
Time will tell whether this should be our new LB

Ginger I agree that we looked good and were giving them fits. I really enjoyed the first 60 minutes. The last 30? Maybe "negative" was a too strong of a word but... maybe a little "paranoid?." But hat may have been my own bias because I just wanted us to win so bad!
Either way, I suspect that MON has his reasons because he is obviously sensible. He IS our manager after all and I hope it stays that way for a long time. Each week I worry going into these games but this team keeps giving me glimpses of us threatening to take that next step. When we string this together, everybody else look out.

I'd prefer Danny Batth in the middle anyway, so Chester joins McClean on this season's "self-inflicted ban, but no great loss" list.

It will be Baath but I have to say it worries me. RND goes forward so much the CB has to shuffle across and fill the hole and they really need a decent left foot and a bit of pace, not Baath.
I think he will play Souttar that side because then he can pick whichever other CB he wants for the right CB.

Can't be much between them + Batth is much better at tackling I think.

This could be a push for promotion or a season of recovery and consolidation, either way we have nothing to lose, and so this could be a blessing in disguise meaning moving Collins into his natural position alongside Souttar.

If ryan doesn't play on tuesday night, we have to accept his time here is probably up. Nonsense. We could need him yet this season, it only takes a couple of injuries and suspensions, and we're a player short. But the fact that MON did not even select him for the bench does suggest that he has no future at scfc while MON's in charge. He could become player manager somewhere, possibly not far from here, and prolong his career if he's succesful.

Not sure their player had it under control or near enough the goal for it to be a red, personally, but we did get away with a criminal one first half.
I’d play Collins and Souttar and put Smith RB. Think Collins not being a RB is telling a bit now. He’s obviously quality and hasn’t done anything particularly wrong but he doesn’t look comfortable out there a lot of the time and if there’s a chance to play him in his position then go for it.

Might be a blessing in disguise with him being absent against a big Rotherham side?.

Given how Allen has come straight back in, there must be concerns about his fitness/robustness

Massive loss. He’s played very well again today. Since Chester came back into the team at Sheffield Wednesday he have conceded 5 goals in 11 league games. Absolutely this. He played very well today. Yes he’s got a mistake in him as have every Championship centre half. Clearly Batth will play Tuesday as he was on the bench ahead of Ryan today. Up to Danny to give us a MOTM performance Tuesday and then MON will have a pleasant dilemma next Friday. Take one of those chances first half and we’d all be creaming tonight.

Am I the only one who would rather see Collins in his actual position as centre half?
Good that Chester's out for a few games, he isn't the future.

Big opportunity for Ryan. Batth will go straight in and rightfully should. Ideally, we’d sign a right back similar to the new left back (what a difference he made) and put Collins in there now. He makes a few too many mistakes, but when settled, it could be a perfect back line.

He was more likely to score than we were to not weather the final 20 with 10 men.
