Not at all but when you’ve been calling for midfield subs because they’re clearly fucked and then you concede a goal with one of those midfielder sauntering back it’s grates. Allen and Mikel haven’t been able to run since about the 60th minute and we clearly needed fresh legs. It’s poor management. So shall we sack him and replace him with.......... Oh behave. But he can do wrong things you know. 🤦♂️

Dunno about gifting pressure, they were losing and had to push on. They're gd team. Just disappointing We sat back and gave them the game and nothing to think about in defencive terms, it allowed them to push further up the pitch which they weren't able to before. Or we lost the one player that was causing them problems which allowed them to play higher up the pitch and chase the equaliser that we needed. I didn't see any deliberate sitting back. We lost our impetus and they gained some with the introduction of Holtby. A change in midfield to stem the tide would have been nice and should have happened in my opinion but deliberately sit back? Not for me today.

You can provide MON with every pound literally blown by Jones/Rowette and he’d still manage to be as pig headed and downright crazy with his substitutions, the bloke is staggeringly stupid week by week. Says stupid

Draw not the end of the world if we follow up with a win at Rotherham but that will be another tough game.
If Powell hadn't got injured we'd have won that, but in the end it could have been a lot worse.
Onwards and upwards......

Hey to all you whingy whiners who all of a sudden have come out of the woodwork as soon as Blackburn scored.... a brief glance shows that you seem to be the same lot that shout and cry about MoN not making ‘positive’ subs around the 60min mark..... Well this game has gone south since he did exactly what you lot have been saying should happen. We had all our young ‘positive’ players sprinting off up front for no reason which left us stretched and exposed. So whatever MoN does or doesn’t do - you lot will put everything onto him when It doesn’t go to plan. Ssh ssh, he's here everyone. Gather round.

Really should have scored at the end of the first half. Thompson simply has to be ruthless, he has missed a lot of chances this season. Point rescued by Blackburn - two dropped by us. Game changed completely when Powell went off. It was a great save by their keeper!

Something has been bugging me all game.
Is that a cardboard cutout of Jack Walker holding the Premier League trophy above the tunnel? And is there a cardboard cutout of Mr Venky next to him, like a low budget Star Wars episode 6 remake?

God cue the back slash...
Dominated for 70 mins, injury to Powell changed the game. I know we might of got away with one first half but I reckon the goal was out of play. Sending off got us a point, move on a point is ok. Disappointed but some positives, we look much better going forward but a tad to open for me. The new lads did ok, just left us open at times. But that pitch was shocking so judge us next week!

The thinking doesn’t extend beyond moaning mate. Nonsense. MON fucked up today with the subs. Absolutely, 2 points thrown away because our manager can't see what was so obvious. 3 changes should have been made 10 mins before that goal, Allen, Matondo and Mikel were totally fucked but he just stands there and does nothing He's starting to seriously piss me off.

Top half this season after losing our two main strikers is a great improvement from where we were, and I'd take it even though I'm fuming right now.
MON has shown he's adaptable and he learns tbh.

As all longstanding Stoke will know, how come at the end of games we are always" hanging on", rather than being in a position where we are " going for the winner". Invariably if anything happens...we concede. Or am I just imagining this. Is there anything worse than that feeling of frustration at letting a team back into a game you’ve been in complete control of

MON is going to lose this game for us. We should have made changes 10 mins before that goal went in. We could do with losing so called supporters like you

Holtby has changed this game for me Our non-existent centre midfield from 60 minutes onwards changed the game ffs Absolutely, they died on their feet. However, they put a tremendous stint in in the 1st 70 mins, and I would have taken a draw at the outset. Also, we played some far better football and the new signings have looked useful with RND very impressive 1st half. We go again.

I thought there was much to be encouraged about, they really never got on top until went down to 10 men. Yes we need a striker, but I would argue a right back as well. Collins does an admirable job, but is limited going forward. Thought Souttar was outstanding today, as was Bursik.

You have to respect Brown's work rate and effort but as a Striker he just isn't up to it. Bring Fletcher into the middle with the team we fielded today and we would have been 2 up and home. Like Powell playing forward. All 3 new signings were fantastic and very optimistic. Tuesday we get a win.

Holtby has changed this game for me Our non-existent centre midfield from 60 minutes onwards changed the game ffs I said to my lad 5 minutes before they equalised we need to get Allen off now and bring on Cousins. Fair play that when Powell went off he brought on Clarke but it was so obvious that we were light in centre mid it was criminal.

Decent game that
Rovers did fuck all for an hour then when they turned up they looked very good.
Second goal and we win that but there you go, everyone knows we need that striker, manager must be desperate to get one in.
Thompson Mikel and Allen were excellent first half, all three waned. Surprised Clucas didn't come on

Disappointing but when you are completely bossing the game like we are you have to put it to bed.
Then 2 things happen, Powell goes off and we then started to tire and drop back.
Allen or Mikel should have come off as soon as we were starting to get pushed back.
Many good things on show though and if we manage to get a decent striker to replace Brown we could still have a decent 2and half of the season.
