I wonder if they want to do us another favour and give us Billy Sharp...Beattie 2.0 I think that’s a good shout but doubt they’ll allow it I don't see why they wouldn't later in the window as he isn't getting games at all. He's too good to be sat doing nothing. He's exactly what we need. Just a natural goal scorer

What is it with all these footballers who seem to need complex double or even triple barrelled names? Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. Rhys Norrington-Davies. Even our own Tashan Oakley Booth. I remember when football was a working man's game and players had sensible names, like Tom Finney and Eric Skeels. Life was much simpler then! Nothing to do with no longer being a working man's game. The rise of double-barelled surnames is coming from the changing times. Many women no longer want to give up their family name in order to take their husbands I agree, but you do wonder what the children of couples both with double barrel names are going to be called!

Interesting concept that the children of two pweple with double-barrelled names could have four surnames - the worlds gone mad - be a bit like last nights 5th round cup draw!!

Then there's the NFL, with names like Donovan Peoples-Jones and Ju Ju Smith-Schuster... lol. Is that Ju Ju Smith Schuster Junior, and Donovan Peoples-Jones II?

The phrasing of the story does seem to indicate it could well be a permanent deal? Hard to see why Sheff Utd would interfere and end one Champ loan just to allow another Champ loan
But why they'd let a player go for a modest fee that they agreed a new long-term deal 3 weeks ago is anyone's guess - especially when they'll be a Champ team themselves next season He would be a lot nearer home and able to commute?

Why? We clearly needed another left back He isn't as good as either Fox or Pickering. Its only a loan, we need cover / competition permanently. Why has he had one terminated championship loan to go on another championship loan, doesn't make any sense.

He's exactly what we need. Just a natural goal scorer He's 34 years old and has barely played all season. It's not a Beattie 2.0 at all. Beattie was bought on the cusp of some of the best form of his career. He then carried that form for 6 months here, then was largely crap after. We need to bring in a striker who is either in form (lower leagues or abroad) or has a real point to prove (U23s of the Prem). Bringing in old hand-me-downs isn't going to get us a seat at the playoffs table.

The people of Stoke-On-Trent is the problem with Stoke-on-Trent Always slaughtering it, pisses me off and it’s no wonder it’s thought of in that way with no investment Anyway back on track.... he’ll be a great signing

Just having a browse through Luton's pre-medieval forum and there's a rumour that another one of their loanees, Keirnan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester, is being recalled. What's happened there then? Two of their loanees being recalled on the same day is odd. And by all accounts is the Leicester lad rated. They have probably reported back home what an absolute fruit loop Jones is.

There’s more to this than meets the eye. I think they are after one of our players. Sam Vokes. 😮 Jeez Sheffield utd are in a desperate situation as it is !! Reckon they may think ince could add a little impact as a sub, he won't but may be if they want a loan chucking in.
