If, as everyone wants, we go to a flat back four and Fox is left back choice, I'm not sure where the incentive is for R N-D to leave Luton other than financial for The Blades. He's getting regular game time under Nathan. However, if we go 3-5-2, we'd still have Smith holding us back on the right. When is Fox due back?

Maybe view is Doughty can cover at LB next season and for now Fix can play at LCB so Lindsay can leave? I wonder if the long term plan is still 3-5-2? Maybe we’ll see a RWB come in to allow us to play it properly alongside Doughty. Or just as worrying he sees Smith as an actual rwb.

An odd U turn by Wilder in 4 weeks. "Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder has once again reiterated that full back Rhys Norrington-Davies will remain at Kenilworth Road for the rest of the season."www.lutontoday.co.uk/sport/football/luton-town/blades-boss-wilder-reiterates-sheffield-united-full-back-norrington-davies-staying-luton-3065915?__twitter_impression=trueWent on to say in a separate article 23 November 2020 when the speculation from Stoke, WBA, and Burnley was raised. "There had been online rumours that the defender’s form meant he was a target for Premier League sides West Bromwich Albion and Burnley, plus, more unlikely, Stoke City, the trio lining up bids when the transfer window opens again on Monday, January 4.
However, they were way off the mark according to Wilder, as speaking to Yorkshire Live, he said: “No intentions to recall him at all, he's there for the season, he's committed to Luton for the season.

Surely only signed so they can recoup the wages via lettering on shirt sales? 🤔 To be fair I'd sign him just to piss Jones off That's why we didn't go for Ng from Crewe

Just having a browse through Luton's pre-medieval forum and there's a rumour that another one of their loanees, Keirnan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester, is being recalled.
What's happened there then? Two of their loanees being recalled on the same day is odd. And by all accounts is the Leicester lad rated.

Yeah those jersey-letters are going to have to be very small, otherwise they will have to go vertical or abbreviate to Nor-Dav. Looks like the Luton fans don't particularly want to see him go - that's a change for once.

Pretty usual. I hope our own manager is more transparent. When he said Etebo isn't coming back it seemed definite. This has all the hallmarks to me of somethings changed either: - they got him under a new contract with a view to sell and inflate the price or
- Wilder wants to do a deal with Stoke in some other area (player swap)
- Sheff U need to raise some funds for a miraculous survival signing
- Wilder has no insight to what the club are planning to do and his days may be numbered
Its all a bit weird to me when we were specifically mentioned to him as an interested party on Nov 23rd, he said he's going nowhere and staying at Luton. I can see why they wouldn't let him go to Burnley or WBA as relegation rivals but I just don't get this idea that they are £100k better off or RND wants to be closer because of the pandemic. He definitely wont play as many games at Stoke as Luton if/when Fox is fit if he is only a loanee.

On a better note, it looks as though M.O.N. carries some weight in being able to attract promising young players to the club.

There's a really youthful vibe around the squad now, isn't there? Can't remember when we last had all those 19-22 players around things. Admittedly a couple are on loan - and we've got just as many on the other end of the scale, but he clearly is really trying to renew things
Bursik (20) Collins (19) Souttar (22) Brown (22) RND (21) Matondo (20) Doughty (21) Campbell (21)
plus Tymon (21), Verlinden (21) and TOB (20) on the periphery
